Very good video. There is still a missed issue: how much kilometres is the minimum to be profitable this uhvdc? Up there I found 80km. From 0 to 80 is better AC and above 80km the profitability curve start to rise in DC. The more km, more efficiency in DC. Nowadays at China is a mega proyect of 3200km in uhvdc. Ok. Thanks
You didn't say anything about converter transformers. Why are considerably bigger/havier in comparison with usual power transformer given same power rating. But very good video in general 👍
