When I saw Luna launch Basic Impulse with all 3 core packs I thought they about to pull a perfect Impulse But they went with old Shinn strategy of basically on the go anytime swap packs based on what they need / battery swap. Which honestly unlike Perfect Strike which is old model, their tech is more outdated and probably less efficient that it eats battery so fast,it's not practical But with Impulse Deuterion charging system, really thought they about to go for that...

This makes me think of Pirates of the Caribbean. Which, in turn, makes me think of Crossbone Gundam. .... man, I think this track would really have worked perfectly as music for Tobia to start wrecking stuff in the Crossbone X-3.
Gundam Seed/ Destiny and Gundam 00 have the coolest merch designs of all Gundam Series IMO. I wish they would make PC game featuring all those (full version not F2P/P2W gacha).

Watching SEED right now but damn if the writers weren't bad and they used the setting right SEED has a lot of potential to be the best early 2000's Gundam series. But that gets thrown out by the writer being spiteful and not experienced with Sci-fi drama writing.
It has pretty limited armament compared to Justice and Freedom, which are older suits: standard beam rifle, one big sword, one big cannon, one anti-ship sword, boom boomerangs, and Shining Finger, which is only useful in close range. Also, it needs to drop the sword or the beam rifle to use the boomerangs or Shining Finger. Justice is a close combat suit with twice the number of guns, and it's older than Destiny.
Because Vestige is meant as a catch-all for all Seed Destiny MS, instead of being used specifically by Shinn Asuka. Probably because there isn't as much space in a PSP disc so they decided to keep it as simple as possible (plus the fact that Seed Destiny doesn't have a major role nor importance in Z2s, they're here just because they are fan favs and they need more gundam to show up).

Who would win: an elite squadron of genetically superior super soldiers that surpassed Coordinators that can read minds and hearts, meant to lead mankind OR one empty headed angry boy

kira is the way he is because of the horrible situation he was forced into, to fight and kill even fight his former best friend and his own people he became the idealist he was in destiny because he matured from his own suffering and mistakes, shinn is a kid who lost his family to war and throws his rage grief at the battle field attacking killing anyone he see's fit, he is not the only person to lose family to war yet he thinks he has the right to choose who lives or dies, shinn is a loser.
Destiny only has the one beam cannon and the beam rifle (which it can't use if it has the sword) for long range combat. If you took out even one of its arms, it would have only one weapon. Oh, yeah. And then, after all the crap that barbaric little rage machine had pulled, Athrun was still a such a nice guy that he hauled Shinn's butt off of the moon before he ran out of oxygen. Despite the fact that Shinn would likely not have done the same for him. And, at that point in the story, probably would have gladly slaughtered all of Athrun's friend without a second thought.
But Kira was heavily distracted over the safety of the ArchAngel, his unwillingness to fight and Kira was also confused all caused by Rey to have the Freedom destroyed.
also kira fought because he wanted to fight to end all fitting shin fought because he wanted to vent his grief hatred and blamed everyone for his pain thinking only he suffered from loss of loved ones from war and was willing to blindly follow orders even if he felt they might be morally wrong, he questioned only to give in because he is weak and he knows he is, he tried to be strong by becoming a mobile suit pilot but it only proved his weakness by killing constantly like his family was.
They are not older. Destiny and Legend, didn't fight Freedom and Justice, they fought Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice, which same generation models. Most of Justice's armament is mounted on the backpack, which is more vulnerable than the suit itself. I've seen it get destroyed half a dozen times, at least. Half of it's guns are also CIWS, which are not very effective versus Gundam type mobile suits. Justice is primarily a CQC MS, whereas Destiny is made to be effective at any range.

How is Destiny crappy. It's all three Silhouette's in one. Plus He had Legend with him, against Kira. Athrun and Infinite Justice only entered the battle towards the ends.
Twice survives interposing himself between a positron cannon and it's target, and returns from "the dead". Mu la Flaga: 3 Impossibility: 0 Kira seems to surround himself with fugitives from the Law of Averages.
Plus vis-à-vis Kira, Mu's girlfriend could not just be written out of the story without major changes. Murrue is her own person as part of the story, not just a plot hook or verbal push for Kira and Athrun.

Idk how Shinn can be considered as a Psycho , even the ultimate psycho in gundam history when he exists in the same series as Murata Azrael and the rest of blue cosmos, Paptimus Sirocco, Io Flemming, Ali Al Saches, Origins ver Char/Casval, Mikazuki Augus,. I mean, Io Flemming alone makes Shinn look tame.
He hadn't stop the attack. The other ZAFT troops withdrew so Shinn could go at it. If the Freedom had been twice as fast, it would have made more sense, given Kira's moral position, to disengage, given that Shinn was hell bent on victory or death. But he couldn't, as Shinn would have then destroyed the Archangel. To reiterate, Kira was unable to disengage, worn down from fighting off the rest of the ZAFT force, and Shinn used his refusal to kill his enemies against him.
My only problem with seed and seed destiny is 1: the characters and 2: The originality, they took so much crap of the uc era and plumped it into this one, that really annoyed tbh, I was expecting more. But other than that I thought they did the series really well.
When they first started production of SEED they stated it was going to be the U.C. for the next generation of fans, and thusly borrowed a lot of it's themes and motifs.
Hearing this in cinemas during Gundam Seed Freedom gave me CHILLS. Such a timeless and heroic theme.

SEED Destiny is my second Gundam series. It's not the best but SF is my favorite Gundam.

Only the ending are "happy" and even then SEED was full of gruesome and awful deaths. Plus, UC (OG Gundam timeline) had a lot of goofball moments.

If the Freedom had been twice as fast, it would have made more sense, given Kira's moral position, to disengage, given that Shinn was hell bent on victory or death. But he couldn't, as Shinn would have then destroyed the Archangel.
To reiterate, Kira was unable to disengage, worn down from fighting off the rest of the ZAFT force, and Shinn used his refusal to kill his enemies against him.

I get more of a "pirates" kind of feel from this.
and all the kid could really do was get pissed and not do any damage to anyone important. that was a tad amusing to me.
My only problem with seed and seed destiny is 1: the characters and 2: The originality, they took so much crap of the uc era and plumped it into this one, that really annoyed tbh, I was expecting more. But other than that I thought they did the series really well.
When they first started production of SEED they stated it was going to be the U.C. for the next generation of fans, and thusly borrowed a lot of it's themes and motifs.
LightningEagle07 Gundam SEED was my first Gundam and I loved it, so I guess it did work out well. :) Destiny, on the other hand, wasn't exactly good.
