The 1989-90 season was all Detroit Pistons. This was a great year for the league overall, the entire game was celebrated with the teams growing, the Pistons on top, the Lakers bouncing back and young teams like Phoenix, Chicago, and Portland on the rise. Great for the entire league.
This was in still is my problem with the Knicks,they drafted Mark Jackson in Rod Strickland in consecutive years which made absolutely no sense at all. Then they get Mo Cheeks the year after that. They love acquiring aging over the hill players.
