those tenos were feisty haha!! i always see tenos fighting fullgrown crocs at lake lol, no fear whatsoever. also, seeing your video made me realize i got to visit other places than center when i play. i'm guilty of staying close to the oasis or south east oops. i love emigrating and exploring the map but it gets boring when you've played for hours and only come across one player :-( hope the devs fix this so not everyone just flocks to the center like now. great video as usual!!
yeah same. I mean, I get it that all want to be at lake right now. it is new. but like you said, you don't meet any dinos north anymore. or anywhere else beside lake and swamp. so, I also come back there everytime. but, the devs said already they will spread out plants better ;-)

Amazing video. Devs said they willbchabge the map for deino can more lunge so it will be cool to see some prey again. Too sad to be killed by a cannibal at the end I wanted to see if a deino can kill a stego.
I read that. also clear water at some places. so you can lunge from deep and victim will see its death coming... muahaha yeah, honestly, I wasn't too sad. I was in hurry and already played 4 hours full adult without having much action at all. so, I was happy to die with a big bang there. for the sake of the video ;-)

I guess the lunge will start "far" under water and they won't have much chance to react. just see you coming without being able to get away. you know, they want it as horrifying as possible XD

sad to hear. but, I also failed a lot at the beginning and still do every now and then. as more you play as more you know the map. the spots, the "safe" routes, food spots from others and so on. it's getting more easy with experience. no secret, just practice and sometimes just luck. so, keep going and I'm quite sure you will walk the isle as adult soon... at least 10 minutes. before a pack of friends snacks you XD
@@da.mombie I’ve been playing for 3 years ( 1 year 7 months with Evrima) and I have grown any animal to adult 27 times (16 in Evrima). Maybe your right and I should avoid populated areas, but there doesn’t seem to be food anywhere else as carnivores
@@dino_mite1119 that is no problem. none of my friends like the isle. srsly, not one. still, I have more fun in this game then with my friends in others. the isle is the perfect game to hang out with strangers. right now more as herb but also in carni packs. with nesting this will also change a lot. you can start as babu from others. yeah, sometimes you have bad luck and dumb parents. but, many times you will find some very nice people there. it was like this at Legacy and will be the same at Evrima. you know, fighters won't do much mating stuff. at the start, to try, 'cause it is new. but, very soon they will go back to fighting. so, most people who will do nest and eggs, will be people who love to protect and raise babus. so, easy to find nice mates ingame ;-)

They really need to do something with Deino vs Deino fight... Now they just spam biting each other unlike other creatures that actually have to dodge and look for opening.
tbh, I have way too less experience in deino fights to have an opinion. sometimes I think it would be much better, to turn away, move around and just go for heatbites. always trying to avoid them and best possible only get tailbites in return. not sure if the spam attack is best to do anyway. but, everytime I come in such a situation it is more like, uhm... suddenly I'm dead an recognise I did only spam bite again ^^ most deinos I faced did spam bite as well. still, doesn't mean it is the best tactic. one deino attacked me in water once and it did completely different. it attacked under water. in out, in out... I didn't hit it, was confused all the time and it mostly hit my head. so unlucky I didn't record this. 'cause it was by far the best deino I met till now.

thx. well, that is a tough question. at Legacy, I loved so many of them. dilo, utah, allo, trike, anky, theri, dibble, DRYO (with burrow), pachy and I'm sure I even miss some. I'm no huge fan of the big carni boys like rex, giga or spino. they are fun to play every now and then, but way too stressful to play them too often. always fight against your hunger. you stick between the busy places. everytime you want to explore, you have a very high chance to starve. no time for silly stuff XD in real life, spino is amazing. the first discovery was already very interesting, which got sadly lost during the 2nd WW. the whole story about the surroundings (water), which had to be special. 'cause it is such a "weird" dino, compared to all others we found so far. spino is special, for sure. on the other hand, many are. so, I don't know. sry, I guess I have no favourite :(

yeah, I don't like the current situation as well. yesterday I tried to count herbs at lake. was around 40. on the horizon were a utah pack with 5-6, some carnos and 4 deinos in water. you only meet babus at map. all seem to grow in silence and as soon as they are adult, they mirgrate to oasis. I get it, is is new, it is fresh. still, it is boring ^^ so yeah, I miss old center as well. let's hope people get sick of lake soon ;-)

no, I really didn't know. I didn't play the game when hypsi came in and I'm not the guy who googles much about games. I'm more the learning by doing dude. so, it takes time till I get some stuff others know for ages already XD ... still, I will remember NOW ^^ sry mate, but I don't think main players know much about the pain. I play deino pretty often and see no pain at all. no special deino pain at least. the lake is like pond was. it is a place to fight, not to ambush. the north river is even better now for deinos and most of the center river is still as good as it was. nothing else has changed. with diet you grow even faster and in general it was never that easy to grow a deino since I play. the problem you are talking about is something different. and not deino specific. the problem is, 50% of players are around the lake right now ('cause it is new). so, less dinos at center river or any other place. bad for deino, yes, but also for all other carnis. it is pretty tough to find players at other places then lake right now. not only with deino. with all. I also read kissen about changing the map for deinos. I'm looking forward to it. there are too many safe places to drink, imo. also the part with clear water sounds very interesting. so yeah, changes are welcome ;-) and thx mate

I always saw the diet just as tool right now. and much more the possibilities it offers. spread out is a good step, but did you read the part about boost in the future. they want to make juvie life more interesting. right now your only goal is to grow as fast as possible. but, they will change this (somehow). and then something will come like, you eat this plant and become faster, but weaker. or stronger and not that agile. whatever you want your dino to be. this will bring a huge amount of tactics to fight and survive in general. still, we are talking about the long term. the very long term I guess. but, I am very excited about as well :) at least I'm no angry. if you tab G you take a piece out of it (if you are fully grown it is just one piece) and by holding G you take the whole fish, carno or whatever you are able (weight) to carry. and thx
I won't make a video just for that, but I will show the way in one of my next deino videos. I like to grow east anyway and will fit it somehow into the video. in the meantime I try to explain. best you go to the east end of the swamp wall. you leave the water there (like I did in this video). at 1:14 you see the entrance already. it is between this two hill-walls you see at the horizon. just enter there and explore. it is the small part of east swamp at this side with some canyons to the north. follow them and you will come to northern east swamp. the bigger part of east swamp incl. that waterfall.
Omg, u have this bugs also? I have them, but Strange is, only with sub and adult croc I just got. my first fully grown croc, but then i got attacked by steg and couldnt move, so my apex died senseless☹️

this video was at official EU server. but, I also play at teutonic, you find them at unofficial server. you can switch between official, unofficial, favourites and something else (last played or so) since update. there is a drop down menu at the right side of server list screen.

I don't like that playstyle either. but, no rules. I can't wait till rule server come to Evrima. it was so nice at Legacy. played mostly at rule servers.
@@dino_mite1119 it is different. very different. at Legacy no rule was hardcore. Evrima is a childs birthday party compared to Legacy no rule. 'cause ALL play together. you have some of these hardcore killer mates, yes, but also the friendly mates. at least 50/50. Legacy no rule was 100% killer mates, mostly in big mixpacks on comms. it was another world. on the other hand, the rule server have been very nice. I loved them. it was such a natural gameplay. yes, you also met some who didn't care for rules, but they got banned soon and you also got your dino back. rule server are also very different. no mixpack. depending on what rule server even no mixpack between herbs. body down rule was also nice. you couldn't kill what you can't eat. I played dilo once, killed a rex. solo. I had to stay around 2 hours with body. not allowed to leave. could drink, but had to return immediately. you think twice before you attack next rex ;-) so yeah, I always said Evrima needs this rule server. 'cause it is just annoying to play with 100 people who all have a different mindset. at rule server you choose what you like and all are happy. the only who are not happy, are people who want to troll others. 'cause they are not allowed at rule and not successful at no rule ;-)

When I;m a teno I always head north. Its just a safe place to grow

Whenever I see you play, Mombie, it gives me hope that I can grow a dinosaur but usually I fail epically

I just have a problem with main players in general. nothing to do with you. I played a lot dead by daylight the last years. I didn't like main players before, but with that game I started to "hate" them. hate is a strong word. after all it's just a game and I don't hate people in real life for. still, all killer main were like, survivor OP and all survivor main were like, killer OP. I played both and can tell you, nope, nothing OP (in most parts at least). people had less skill, lost and always blamed the game for. never experienced the other side. so, if you just play half of the game, or like with the isle only one out of 9 (50 later on) different perspectives, then sry, you have no idea what you are talking about, beside that few % you play.
and you is not you. you is all main players who want to tell others how the game should be more suitable to their character only. didn't mean you said anything like that. nothing to do with you. in english you is you. to many are you XD

yeah, honestly, I had a feeling this deino played with that stego. no fact, don't know. but, it was strange the stego immediately turned away after I was dead, while the other deino was still close enough to go for. but, maybe I'm just paranoid XD

if you tab G you take a piece out of it (if you are fully grown it is just one piece) and by holding G you take the whole fish, carno or whatever you are able (weight) to carry.

Can you make a video on how to get to east swamp?
I won't make a video just for that, but I will show the way in one of my next deino videos. I like to grow east anyway and will fit it somehow into the video.
in the meantime I try to explain. best you go to the east end of the swamp wall. you leave the water there (like I did in this video). at 1:14 you see the entrance already. it is between this two hill-walls you see at the horizon. just enter there and explore. it is the small part of east swamp at this side with some canyons to the north. follow them and you will come to northern east swamp. the bigger part of east swamp incl. that waterfall.

this video was at official EU server. but, I also play at teutonic, you find them at unofficial server. you can switch between official, unofficial, favourites and something else (last played or so) since update. there is a drop down menu at the right side of server list screen.

@@CrzzyPlays sad to hear. so, you installed Evrima over steam betas and it crashed when you wanted to log in on server? or did it crash when you start Evrima? 'cause yesterday was a bad update for some hours and the game didn't work (I also got many crash at that time). there was another hotfix since then and it works better now. still, I had 2 fatal error crash within 5 hours playtime. maybe you tried during that bad update time?

I don't like that playstyle either. but, no rules. I can't wait till rule server come to Evrima. it was so nice at Legacy. played mostly at rule servers.

@@da.mombie true, but Evrima, while much more intricate than legacy (forgive me old timers) needs rules, as the entire map is basically a mosh pit
@@dino_mite1119 it is different. very different. at Legacy no rule was hardcore. Evrima is a childs birthday party compared to Legacy no rule. 'cause ALL play together. you have some of these hardcore killer mates, yes, but also the friendly mates. at least 50/50. Legacy no rule was 100% killer mates, mostly in big mixpacks on comms. it was another world.
on the other hand, the rule server have been very nice. I loved them. it was such a natural gameplay. yes, you also met some who didn't care for rules, but they got banned soon and you also got your dino back. rule server are also very different. no mixpack. depending on what rule server even no mixpack between herbs. body down rule was also nice. you couldn't kill what you can't eat. I played dilo once, killed a rex. solo. I had to stay around 2 hours with body. not allowed to leave. could drink, but had to return immediately. you think twice before you attack next rex ;-)
so yeah, I always said Evrima needs this rule server. 'cause it is just annoying to play with 100 people who all have a different mindset. at rule server you choose what you like and all are happy. the only who are not happy, are people who want to troll others. 'cause they are not allowed at rule and not successful at no rule ;-)
