People are somehow consistently surprised that comedian's are more informed than they thought. Poking at current societal issues is the life blood of comedy, being informed enough to understand where those issues really come from and being able to alert others within a couple sentences, that also make them laugh, that's just impressive.
To be a comedian, you have to think deeply on virtually everything. You reverse engineer every concept in order to pull the jokes out of them. Comedians are philosophers, historians, politicians, and TEACHERS who have a passion for humor/ entertaining others.

There are some comedians that are all about being raunchy and cheap laughs, but then there are those that truly elevate comedy, like you. That is an amazing talent. Great way to handle this guy, however- what I found most impressive, was the addendum in the last minute of this video (referencing several Eastern European nations and their recent push towards ultra-nationalism, isolationism, etc). It's one thing to be a great "comedic", but another altogether, to be a comedian who's well informed in global issues. I'm from one of those eastern european states. The nationals and populists fucked shit up so hard and brought recession as well as stole enough money via private firm contracts that people are flocking to the liberals. Who are about as corrupt but still at least more decent than those guys. At least they don't steal ALL of the money and don't use hate / fear mongering as a tool.

I plan on being one of the first in line, voting straight blue, then attending what I am hoping turns into a victory party for Conor Lamb in the 17th Congressional District up in Cranberry, PA that night. The Republican party has openly admitted that the more people vote, the worse it is for them. It's why they've passed/are working on passing, dozens upon dozens of bills that make it harder to vote.
And it's all in response to the completely false claim that voting fraud and mail-in ballots are a problem (which they're not) and that the 2020 election was rigged (which it wasn't; you'd think out of the 60-some lawsuits Republicans filed trying to contest the 2020 election, some of them would have had some EVIDENCE. People are somehow consistently surprised that comedian's are more informed than they thought. Poking at current societal issues is the life blood of comedy, being informed enough to understand where those issues really come from and being able to alert others within a couple sentences, that also make them laugh, that's just impressive.
