It seems to me that the purpose of this video is to show us how this couples channel begins. They have established a relationship with DT to help fund their start and give them help building their farm. This I noted as DT gave them a tour of his home/farm area. DT may have created this as a “spin-off” channel of which he and Tu get a small monthly share of their TH-cam revenue. In exchange the new channel gets all the video and TH-cam resources DT currently uses.
Very smart business model. If this goes well I would not be surprised if DT does it again for another couple.
Might not be offering the same for family because sometimes family members want to totally control how they do things and often think you should do everything for free.
This has become a way of life for DT but also a business… in business time is money…you can only give so much of your time for free…
