I saw after the burial at summit music hall in Denver last year. They opened with a wolf amongst ravens and that song, the venue, and their perfect stage presence made it one of the most amazing things I will ever see. Being right on front of them in that tiny convert hall was by far the best show i have ever seen by far
It's hard to put into words messages left for those who have left us. I cannot imagine the state of mind Justin had in his last moments, but as a teenager-cum-adult with a deep love of music, the first time I heard AFB I developed a deep respect for their skill and constant push for improvement. To see on stage just one half of the duo that made this band was very saddening. Wherever you are Justin, I hope that you are still rocking out.
This song reminds me of my brother, he passed away a few years ago. I’ve finally learned how to cope. I miss you brother 🙂 I know you’re in a better place.
well without Pantera these bands wouldn’t exist. it pisses me off that people will always have a genre fight or somebody says “i like metal” in a video like this, you know some ballsack is gonna come back at him “heyy!! uh this is djent man, get it right🤓” its like how can u tell someone else who has probably been listening to metal way longer than you that they r wrong, mKes no sense
@@WutangBizkit in my mind there rock, heavy rock, and metal 😂 soo like you said, I don't care about all those sub genres. I like the music I like and idc what anyone else thinks
Dude just saw and loved american satan movie and never heard this song but now when I heard the opening line to this song I was so confused cause I knew it was no control....pretty crazy how they worked it out 2 use this song for american satan and re do the song without this band and singer/screamer n use a completely different band.
@@JayBadloss1989 That movie was a good one for sure and of course had kick ass metal with a twist \m/ this is still one of my favorites from them, definitely check out their other songs as well.
Ive never seen this video up until this moment now but this scenario isnt completely fiction and Im guessing what Im about to type is where they got the concept for this video. Around Valentines Day of the same year(7 months prior)After the Burial played a show 45 minutes south of me in a small town called Brookings, SD. Brookings is about a 5 hour drive WEST from the Twin Cities depending which route you take. I believe they played a show in Rapid City the night before and were headed to Fargo, ND to meet up with As I Lay Dying on their tour which is about an 8 hour drive but they had 2 days to get there. An organizer in Brookings had a small concert scheduled with a bunch of area bands and I guess got ahold of ATB to headline on there drive through. The location of this mini festival of area bands was being held at the local Lutheran Church in the gymnasium. Story from a friend that was playing that night was the band got paid an advance to show up and claimed to have never got the money so they got paid again after the show making double of what they originally were suppose to be paid. That was a fun night..and so was Valentines in Fargo because i made the drive up there too haha. Good times.
it just happened today i stepped over some veil of maya songs and went aaaall the way down remembering 10 years ago having a band with my friends, today im no longerr friends with no one of them due to sereval problems and some of them are no longer here, i just wish i could go back to those days, i really miss my friends man, RIP JL now i understand what its like to let people you love go
+Solarious Eclipsicus Deathcore? Really? No, this is by no means deathcore. It's prog metal. It's the undeniable definition of "Djent". Deathcore? Not at all.
Damn, I wasn't aware there were so many haters on this album. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED rareform. But this album was also fucking amazing. I am glad to hear that their next album is gonna be more of a return to rareform though.
I didn't know at first they originally did this song before the American Satan's movie and their version called We Lose Control. And both versions rock.
RIP "Just Tune Low"
Jake Allen Never heard that n8ckname. Noice
Don't understand why this band is so underrated.
They never have been and never will
TOP 3 Best Metal Bands Ever
@@jettgjr31 the comment is 10 years old 🤣 back then they were underrated
Reminds me of Street Fighter 2.
They still don't get enough love.
This song still gives me chills even 5 years after it's release ; that intro
How about 5 years later again :')
@@TinKnocker69 I surely still stand by it !!
Just experienced the chills again. 2024
Let’s GOOOOOO
RIP Justin Lowe :(
didnt he jump off a bridge like a bad ass
Nooooo
That feeling when the video is so bad, meanwhile the song is awesome
O yeah.i was thinking the same thing🤘🤘
Julie😍💕
Your music has inspired me just as I'm sure it has others. RIP Justin.

Almost a decade later and I still blast this as loud as I can

I send my condolences broham.me and my brother got to see the for the first time 2 and a half years ago at the Tabernacle in ATL.
🤘🤘
Fly high bro
Rest In Peace man he is in a better place now
I get the Pantera vibe on the last breakdown. Awesome band.
Exactly what I was thinking ha!
you get a pantera vibe on like half of the bands these days the were a great influence for many

Man, that last minute of the song is the best!
One of their best songs, easily.
Even 7 years later, this song is so good!
found this band and immediately loved it. Can't wait to get my ATB shirt in the mail!
the band's musical style is evolving, quick someone call the WAAAAAA-MBULANCE.
I'm just honestly perplexed how this song even came out of this band. They put out Dig Deep after this song...and Rareform BEFORE this song....how?
That bass is perfect
Love to come back to this video every once in a while to see Justin throw his whole body into that riff at the end. R.I.P.
4:27 needs to have a brutal bass drop
R.I.P Lowe... Lost but never forgotten 🤟❤️🤟❤️
These guys are Soooo Damn good🎧🎶🖤🔥🔥🔥🔥 who's with me?
👍
4:05 ❤
I forgot this song existed until I heard that part in the American Satan teaser trailer.
Eternal Oblivion same
Thank god I wasn’t the only one!
Once I heard “we lose control” it hit me
haha, same

R.i.p. Justin Lowe. You were amazing live last year. Love these guys. Also from my hometown St.Paul, MN
Dude, not even kidding, if I'd been a few years older, I'd have gone to high school with Trent and Justin.

That's a pretty cool story... and scummy of them to take double payment if it's true lol. Still love after the burial though 🤘
This song is so relaxing
Oh man this song just doesn't get old
That breakdown at the end of the song is nasty!! 🤘🤘 These guys are awesome!
The end of this song pounds!

That high pitch scream though!
Thats anthony nortamasso for you
I love his vocals!
I agree. While I know things change and bands progress.. I really miss the groove and intensity they used to have.. good ole twin cities core
That ending kind of reminde me of the ending to scream aim fire by BFMV.
Great song, the guiar melodies are excellent
Yes ..they are kind of similar
I miss old After The Burial.
The end of this song rocks.
Soooo good band!
2:54-3:30 sweet part))
LOL how can you dislike this music? After The Burial is the best and skilled metal band in this world! :D
RIP, Justin. Shred on in the cosmos.
All time fav❤️
After The Burial and Misery Signals are the best when it comes to be a good progressive metalcore band
this is a pretty badass song, i like it
After the Burial will be appearing at the New Brookland Tavern in West Columbia, SC on Tuesday, April 16.

Sad to see another great musician die, even worse that they finally found him here in Wisconsin after he had been missing for a month. RIP Justin

First time listener, pretty awesome!
Dat intro :)This band :)This genre the band plays :)
Metal in general :)
+Warrior Tha Witt It's called deathcore....in general
+Solarious Eclipsicus Deathcore? Really? No, this is by no means deathcore. It's prog metal. It's the undeniable definition of "Djent". Deathcore? Not at all.
Jamie Herrington Potato patoto, informative tho, I looked into it, yeah you are correct, they are not very different tho.
This is the oddest deathcore ive heard lol. Think djent is the term ya looking for bud
Still the best song ever
It honestly made me cry. And I hate to be "that guy" but it really did. Something about the lyrics plus Justin really touched me.
Damn I remember seeing this live and I’m telling you this breakdown got violent !!!
amazing song :D
Video was ahead of its time. Gay rights, gender equality, and of course METAL.
I listened this song and remember to August Burns Red cause the guitar riffs are awesome and the screams, i think the intro is intense, i just say \m/
Damn, I wasn't aware there were so many haters on this album.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVED rareform.
But this album was also fucking amazing.
I am glad to hear that their next album is gonna be more of a return to rareform though.
I'm proud to say iv been in an after the burial mosh pit , it's hands down the best choice iv ever made 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Geniales.
I bet everyone will fail in "try not to headbang challenge" in this song..absolutely killer
Çox super, brat!!
Holy shit, they're awesome!
I don’t understand why these guys don’t play this song whenever they go on tour. It’s easily their best song.
They don’t play any songs from this album which they should 😔
@@niix0173 Because sumerian is a trash label. Everything they tough turns to shit.
They played this song when I saw them in 2011! Would love to hear it these days.
Probably has to do with some Sumerian royalties and might be cause of Justin’s passing
I've never known that After The Burial had any music video :D
Do yourself an enormous favor and see them live. :D
I did back on 12/3/16 at the Wiltern in LA.. they tore the house down 🤘🏽🤘🏽
i saw them in concert last night here in indiana these guys and the singer are fuckin AMAZING!!!!!
Love how they're all dressed semi-professional, except the bassist, who's in a basketball jersey
listen to their new studio update. their new stuff is kinda a progression of rareform. its gonna be sickk
this breakdown at the end reminds me so much of the ending breakdown of beneath the massacre - anomic
nice song!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Song : )
The best breakdown ive herd
The sun will never shine on me.... 💔
4:05, what a jump

I'll be there for sure.
And when they come with trivium.
I don’t know if all the other ATB fans died of corona virus or what, so I guess I’ll be the first to ask, WHOS STILL LISTENING IN 2020!?
RIP man...
I was actually able to hear the bass in this band without using headphones 0.0
I didn't know at first they originally did this song before the American Satan's movie and their version called We Lose Control. And both versions rock.
