Boggles my mind how the tie rods for the steering don't just shear considering all the bumps and random yanking that goes on. I was waiting for his left front tire to just fly off. Brutal.
@@ItzNano901 the track banking has nothing to do with the left leaning. I drove and owned a winged sprint. These cars tie down the left rear so hard you'll have tires rub on the arm guard fender. Also most chassis have the left frame rail one inch higher than the right so you bottom out

Ken Howell you cannot clearly hear it but when your about to enter the corner on some tracks you will let off just a tad to transfer weight the the right side of the car to obtain traction , however this track seemed like it had a large enough cushion and or moisture in the track to allow everyone to almost run it full wide all the way around

it's a tear-off. they go the whole way across the visor. the tab sticks up so the driver can grab it and pull the whole thing off when he gets mud/clay on his visor while racing behind other cars. there are plenty stacked on there.

This guys definitely got a nervous twitch. He keeps bowing his head back and forth. At first I thought he was adjusting his neck restraint, but that’s definitely not the case.
Its the most horsepower to weight ratio of any racecar. Depending on track length they can hit speeds of almost 190 mph before they throw the thing sideways and drift it around the corner. These guys need all that horsepower to carry their brass balls
My boyfriend races a 305 non- wing sprint with 5.3 LS and his car dyno’d at about 420 horsepower in a car that weighs 1586 pounds with him in it. Highest average speed, meaning the average speed carried all the way around the track is around 80 MPH. It depends on the track size and conditions and what type of car to know how powerful they are and how fast they can go.
@@Hilgenbergracing229 They do see those speeds but only on large tracks like Eldora. Now I'm not dissing you but please, sprint cars do NOT drift, It's called the power slide. I've seen videos where pro drifters got in a winged sprinter and could not keep it matted through the corner.

I love how these cars are the only cars in the world that lean left. The feeling of lateral g force like that is never forgotten
NASCAR cars lean left
drifting leans left
Dirt modifieds, Late models, Mini sprints, Mod lights. Theres alot of cars that have lean but that's due for the high banking of the corners.

same here
Dirt cars run with 2 to 1 steering quickeners on the steering wheel shaft is how it works!!
the 15 dislikes in this vid are people that never been to a sprint car race.

That was awesome my neck is hurting just from watching this video.
That car must feel so good to strap into, talk about the dress code great vid catch ya at Charlotte
Craziest form of racing, my 2 cents
I couldn't believe the amount of vibration in the front left tire . Well I know what rides shotgun now !
Dammnnnñ,in such a short amount of time did you not put the pedal to the metal and make history I think you broke the world record
Separating the Men from the boys. Great video. Thanks 🇺🇸🍀🇺🇸

Hi, I’m 14 and wanted to know how to get involved in driving cars like the 410 or 360 sprints

i’m 13 and race a 600 open micro, those are good to learn in first
As noted, Micro Sprints are where you can start

You don't wanna get into a sprintcar with no experience from racing
So awesome!!!
So floor it and try to manage the traction ?

Why does he keep bobbing his head before they go green? Looks like he has a nervous tick or something...
I don't think his neck brace was connected to his helmet
if it's anything like my HANS, the sliding tether can kinda drag now & then like it's bound up on something, doing that pulls it free.
Tightening his belts.

how powerful are those things?

Cinching his belts, you want to be tight in the car. As you move your body compresses to a point.
