Everything was perfect for Dortmund, the title was in their hands at the finale. Bayern lost Lewandowski to Barca that season, then their Captain Neuer was out for the season after the world cup. They also lost Hernandez due to the world cup through injury. Mane came back in Feb but was out of form and his fall out with Sane. Nagelsmann was sacked in April and Tuchel took in charge of a Bayern team, that was inconsistent on the pitch.Even their board memebers Kahn and Brazzo was sacked before the match, but Brazzo was allowed to travel to Koln for this last day drama. But yet Bayern somehow pulled it off. It was just amazing. All Dortmund needed to do is win a Mainz team that had nothing to play for and they bottled it. While Bayern needed a 89th min winner from Muisala to clinch the title. Amazing Drama. The best finale in any league.

It was really a crazy season that such drama has never happened before either in the Bundesliga or other leagues! Respect to Mainz and Köln, who strove and performed their best until the last minute even though the result would not affect their ranking or qualification. Dortmund struggled to avoid defeat in the end, but as usual still bottled in the final match to lose the title! Bayern made a good substitute and grasped the title after Musiala scored the decisive goal few minutes before the final whistle! That season they almost failed to get any title, but the defender truly deserved it! A valuable Bundesliga champion ever! ❤❤❤
