I ship them as a couple once Ahsoka turns 18, and by the end of season 7, she should have been 18 or close to it. They should have gotten back together once Rex spread the word about the chip. Without each other, they just drifted a bit.

In my head, I can totally see them as a couple after the war. When we saw Rex in the Bad Batch helping extract clones defecting from the Empire, I’d like to imagine Ahsoka was with him, helping him in some way. That’s the time period I’d like to see some relationship between them. The age difference during the Clone Wars makes it a bit weird. But I think they went from best friends to more-like he realized the depth of his feelings for Ahsoka when she came back for the battle of Mandalore. And then surviving Order 66 together--I mean, if that wasn’t true love then I don’t know what is ❤
I have a headcanon that after Rex and Ahsoka escaped the cruiser and went into hiding, they slept with each other before going their separate ways. Not necessarily out of love but out of a need of reassurance that they are alive and are going to be okay.

My opnion on this ship has drastically evolved over time. I used to be a hardcore anisoka shipper years ago. But after the scenes in both rebels of ahsoka and darth Vader and many season 7 scenes.... I just don't feel anisoka like I used to. I kind of like ahsoka with Barriss or Lux as well, but not as much... until I stumbled across a bunch of rexsoka vids lately. And looking back on all their interactions throughout all seasons of clone wars including 7 and their interactions in rebels... it's quickly becoming one of my favorite ships. Out of all the characters to ship Ahsoka with, I feel that Rex is the best. Their bond is strong and I seriously feel like it's obvious on some episodes that they have feelings for each other. Anyway, love the ship. Love the edit. Rexsoka forever! ❤

I think Ahsoka treated Rex like a father figure,I know Ahsoka had Anikan but he was her Master but the one she went too when things were looking down was Captain Rex & after Anikan turned she had no one except Rex even threw Star Wars Rebels she thought of Rex as a father & that’s a good thing. Great song too go with a amazing story of Ahsoka & Rex.🇦🇺👍🏻
