Man, I am so happy you posted this. I wanna do the same haircut but wanted to make sure I didnt totally mess my head up haha. I get so tired of the routine related to having curly natural hair - sometimes I just wanna shave it all off man.

I'm so glad I watched. I am a Silver Senior and I am a very youthful senior. Been wearing my hair natural for about 7 years now. I can't seem to get anyone to cut my hair like I want it. I'm an artist, I'm a gardener and I am a designer of beautiful things. Therefore I'm not afraid to take the risk of trimming my own hair since I can't get anybody to do it just like I want it. Much like you I'm not afraid to make a mistake because my hair grows very fast. I thank you for this video and I'm going to follow it as I trim my own hair. While i was pregnant with my daughter my hair grew sooo much after I had her my hair has never been the same. Its shedding & uneven & its like its getting so short idk why 😩 my daughter is almost 2 I didn’t think the shedding would last this long. You gave me confidence to cut my hair thank you 🙏🏾♥️

@@jaguarcheetahs8179 nope i cut it all off and started off fresh. Someone told me that I was supposed to continue taking my vitamins after I gave birth to maintain the length but unfortunately I didn’t. Im taking them now & using wild growth oil & it’s growing fast.

I'm about to do this.. I have never had short hair, other than when I was born.. So this will be a big change. I'm absolutely terrified but I want to do it.. My cousins are telling me I'm crazy. I went from butt length to waist length and now I want to go to a tapered cut, the same style you have.
I cut the hell outta my hair the other day. It's begging for attention so I had to. Think I'll get my daughter's hair professionally cut bc I'm not a professional. Her hair has stunted in growth so that tells me it's time.😩

Marcia, you and your hair are ADORABLE!! Yes it's tough being a mom and just a woman period, but don't worry your doing a great job at both! Your hair really does look healthy and so rich in color. Tell me is it naturally that dark or do you use a black rinse. I'm looking for a black rinse or permanent color (my hair is already dark, just a bit dull) Any suggestions, thanks!
Thank you dear! And yes I use a permanent dye. Maybe 3 times a year. Usually I use dark and lovely jet black but my last dye was by color and co. I prefer the dark and lovely though but both are great and don’t leave my hair dry after using

Going through a lot mentally and emotionally... It's the start of the new year and I'm really struggling. I can't take care of my hair. So much of my energy goes into so many other things that my hair is usually in a bad state. Will cut it today like I did almost two years ago. Sigh...

@@Munsjvc2 thank you. Just got to come back to this. I finally cut mine all of last night but I made sure I was being true to myself and did it not from a place of depression and uncertainty. I re-evaluated my standard of beauty as well, what it means to me on a personal level and I led with that. Also, I had a family scare this week and getting my hair done got in the way 🙄 lol. I feel great, bold and confident.... The darkness still lingers but I do feel a weight lifted off me. One less thing to worry about, if the least. 🤗
