Nice series! But I feel so sad that the old series like deep dives, ask hevesh5 and another series are not being continued. I hope you can continue it ! Also I think the tutorials are being made because its easier to get views and takes less time, then building a project or posting other videos. I don't intend to hurt you though 🙂 . I really like this video, it is perfect for a beginner, but also experienced builders! I have learnt from this video even though I have been building for about 5 years and I thought I knew everything. I kinda taught myself so it’s interesting to see your thinking process and how others set up dominos!
nice! what sort of things did you learn from this video? I find that very interesting to see what others have learned, especially experienced builders.
I learnt lots of small details, for example I never knew there was a technique to turn a domino line (at 5:00).

Wow this is such an awesome detailed tutorial. I’m not a beginner but if I was I would be more encouraged to keep on building because there weren’t any tutorials that were very easy to follow or were to complicated to build for how experienced I was of the time. Overall great job lily.

Since you’ve been videoing I think for a while of all your domino projects and all those amounts of dominoes like 25,000 or whatever I’ve enjoyed watching them I live in an apartment so I don’t really have a big space to do it to get started but I’m sure one of these days I will keep up the good work

another recommendation: wear a short sleeve top - long sleeves can inadvertently brush against your dominoes :-(
Yes that’s another good tip! I tend to roll my sleeves up when I wear long sleeves or sweatshirts.

This tutorial is very helpfull
When I fill in my safety gaps, I set up the dominoes next to the gap and then I use another domino, lay it flat on the ground and use it to move the dominoes slowly one by one into the gap (:
For me, that way is way less scary than filling the safety gaps up by setting the dominoes up right in the gap 👌🏼

I already do dominoes, but I have a question for people who don't have that many dominoes. Is it okay to compromise on spacing (more that one domino width) if you don't have that many dominoes so that you can have a slightly larger project or have a long enough domino line for the beginning and ending lines of a screenlink?
Yeah that’s ok! I do that too sometimes. I only recommend 8mm-1cm when I am teaching because that is the safest spacing for beginners who might not have a feel for how far apart dominoes can be while still working properly.

The thing is that what I want to ask you is that which is better wood or plastic or ceramic 😀?
More tips on how to topple dominoes,
1.) dont push it super super hard
Just a little tap is fine :)
2.) dont push it on the bottom part of the domino
or else it might become reverminoes and lock up
Last but not least, I recommend Lily’s Domino creations :D
