Hanuman stops Lakshman and Sita from heading towards the jungle. Lakshman informs Sita that Lord Ram has decided to banish her to the forest. Hanuman, who is against this, tells Lakshman that he would not allow him to abandon Sita in a forest. Lakshman advises Hanuman to not stop him from performing his duty. Hanuman also swears to not let Lakshman take Maa Sita to the forest and a battle starts between the two.
