My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

I’m sorry 😓 cannot begin to imagine. I have 3 boys and I cry probably once a week at the thought of something happening to them. This song reminds me of my dad who passed last year. It was really hard to listen to it for the first few times, but I can’t stop now. I really am so sorry. Im sure he was amazing and loved you more than life.

My little brother died suddenly, I was in shock, my world torn apart, and heard this song, and it helped me cope with this searing loss. "I was dead but now I live". I hope and pray this song will win recognition on the Christian charts not because it is just another worship song, but because it has depth, substance, musical integrity, and truth. I appreciate all of you who have written in the comments section. In 2014 my daughter died. When I heard this song it really helped me. It took my focus off the pain and put the focus on Jesus healing me. I realized other people do not know Jesus. The great commission is to tell others. To go out into the world. This what I'm doing. 5 months ago today my great grandpa passed away, I used to go to his house about every Sunday. He taught me so much about Christ and this song played at his memorial service. He was the most Christ-like person I've ever known period, I love him so much and can't wait to see him again.

My son left to go on a "risky" mission trip. As a Mom I knew he was doing what he should but the tears were rolling down my cheeks after I left him. I can’t listen to this without crying ! My granddaughters learnt it and sang it at nursing home and TikTok. They are twins 7 and one 12.
This song has help me with my overwhelming grief of losing my cat, Stitch. I screamed and begged God not to take my baby. It was the worst pain I had ever experienced. To love something so unconditional and to be taken away so suddenly. Jesus was telling me that Stitch was going for a little while but goodbye's not the end. Reminding me that I'll see him again in Heaven. Bringing comfort to my still grieving heart.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs and videos. In 2011 at 20 years old I faced death from cancer (7 months to live, one doctor said). This reminds me of how I felt being so young and probably leaving earth. I didn't have hope in Jesus back then but I do now! I love Jesus and it's a sweet encouragement that Jesus can relate with the fear and dealing with an early death. But also the hope of life eternal with Him no matter when a believer leaves earth!! My wife has never walked, being in a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, but will sometime soon take her first steps in heaven. God used this song to show me His plans for me, to again pastor, or help young pastors, and help those who are struggling. We all have different God-given talents, which we are to use for His glory. I praise God, for in the very center of this storm, He has given me His vision, so that my concentration will be on His plans, not dwelling on what is going on, because God knew I would need encouragement during this time. I first heard this song on the radio while driving home. It ended after I parked my car, and I sat there and cried, thinking about Christ saying these things before they watched Him ascend back to Heaven. I intend to put this in my music book to sing in church.

My great grandma just passed away. Heard this song on the way to her funeral today. This lets me know that she is still watching over me because all she wanted to do was spread the word about Jesus, and she did. She always asked us why God did not just go ahead and bring her home to heaven and end her suffer and pain from cancer. Its hard saying goodbye, but I know she is sitting at the feet of Jesus reuniting with her husband and 2 daughters.
