My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!
Sometimes when I sing this song, I change "I", " Me", etc. to "He", " Him". 🎶Go tell the world about Him. He was dead but now He lives. Either way about it, it's still an absolutely beautiful song with so much truth. I look forward to the day that I am in His presence and at His feet.

I lost both my parents over the last 4 years. I was so lost without them. Then Jesus spoke to me. I couldn't listen to secular music. I only listened to preaching. I was lost and looking for a church. Then he sent a friend to me at work and she didn't ask me to come. She told me to be there. It was like a command from our savior. I have since been there a year. Been saved and washed in his blood and the holy spirit. I'm at peace. I put all my trust in the lord. One day I'll see my parents again. And it'll be forever

I’m sorry 😓 cannot begin to imagine. I have 3 boys and I cry probably once a week at the thought of something happening to them. This song reminds me of my dad who passed last year. It was really hard to listen to it for the first few times, but I can’t stop now. I really am so sorry. Im sure he was amazing and loved you more than life.

Same for me, my mom passed 8/5/21. I first heard this song after I asked God for a sign while visiting my mom’s grave. I felt like this was my mom’s words to me. I can now listen to it and hear Jesus and my mom talking to me.
Dear friends in Christ, I am so sorry for both of your losses. I pray that the Holy Spirit, who is our comforter, will continue to heal your hearts and comfort you with the truth of God's Word. I would be remissed as a Bible believing Christian if I did not share with you what the Word of God says about our loved ones who are asleep waiting to be resurrected upon th return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly informs us that death is a sleep. When Lazarus died, Jesus referred to him as sleeping. We are told the same in various parts of the Bible including in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 tells us that the dead no longer have any part to play in the land of the living and that includes talking to those who are alive. In fact to communicate with those who are asleep in death is something the Bible calls necromancy and it is cited many times in the Bible as being an abomination to God.(Leviticus 19:26; Deuteronomy 18:10; Galatians 5:19-20; Acts 19:19). I can absolutely see why this song brings you comfort because in it, is contained comforting words from our Lord: "I've conquered death and I hold the key" Hallelujah!!! "I was dead but now I live" and because he lives we and our loved ones who fall asleep in the Lord will also live again. "Where I go, you will go too someday." Jesus says I go to prepare a place for you and I will come back and take you to spend eternity with me in my father's house (John 14:1-3). Hallelujah!! There is no comfort in believing that your loved ones who are asleep in death are seeing everything you do. It gives me greater comfort to know that they are sleeping, resting until the resurrection. I pray that someday soon, when Jesus returns to take us home you both will be reunited with your loved ones. ❤
I know WHAT this song is about and who…but my daughter died almost 22 months ago and I hearing this song…. She had incredible faith, even at 12 and riddled with cancer…. I feel like it’s time to tell the world her story

5 months ago today my great grandpa passed away, I used to go to his house about every Sunday. He taught me so much about Christ and this song played at his memorial service. He was the most Christ-like person I've ever known period, I love him so much and can't wait to see him again.

My son left to go on a "risky" mission trip. As a Mom I knew he was doing what he should but the tears were rolling down my cheeks after I left him. The first song I heard in my car was this beautiful song and the first line I heard was "Go tell the world about Me." This brought me comfort. Have always loved this song.
Recently my family went through a tragedy, our grandson was still born. My daughter was 3 weeks from delivery when she realized he wasn’t moving. We had never heard this song until the night we had to drive 2 hours to get to the hospital. It literally came on every time we got in the car and many time during our journey that week. Theo song was played at Everett’s funeral the next week. It spoke to us during our time of need. It spoke about our Lord Jesus and about our grandson. Thank you for your talents and faith. It’s for a reason.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs and videos. In 2011 at 20 years old I faced death from cancer (7 months to live, one doctor said). This reminds me of how I felt being so young and probably leaving earth. I didn't have hope in Jesus back then but I do now! I love Jesus and it's a sweet encouragement that Jesus can relate with the fear and dealing with an early death. But also the hope of life eternal with Him no matter when a believer leaves earth!! This song has help me with my overwhelming grief of losing my cat, Stitch. I screamed and begged God not to take my baby. It was the worst pain I had ever experienced. To love something so unconditional and to be taken away so suddenly. Jesus was telling me that Stitch was going for a little while but goodbye's not the end. Reminding me that I'll see him again in Heaven. Bringing comfort to my still grieving heart.
I’m thrilled that this video shows Jesus the friend. Jesus came down to the pits of hell to get me, but he didn’t stop there. He’s remains, through the spirit, a confidant, teacher and yes, friend. This video captures that aspect of Him perfectly! Great job!
My great grandma just passed away. Heard this song on the way to her funeral today. This lets me know that she is still watching over me because all she wanted to do was spread the word about Jesus, and she did. She always asked us why God did not just go ahead and bring her home to heaven and end her suffer and pain from cancer. Its hard saying goodbye, but I know she is sitting at the feet of Jesus reuniting with her husband and 2 daughters.
Due to health issues, having had 25 operations, I haven't pastored in some time. My wife of 41 years, because of severe bedsores, will soon be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My wife has never walked, being in a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, but will sometime soon take her first steps in heaven. God used this song to show me His plans for me, to again pastor, or help young pastors, and help those who are struggling. We all have different God-given talents, which we are to use for His glory. I praise God, for in the very center of this storm, He has given me His vision, so that my concentration will be on His plans, not dwelling on what is going on, because God knew I would need encouragement during this time. I believed in Jesus as a young child. Family life was abusive and I learned how to hate myself. So many times, I wished to end the pain from being the scapegoat, resented and told I shouldn't of been born. Jesus wouldn't let me end my life. He took those people out of my life and brought an angel of a husband who is everything my family never was, caring, kind and most importantly, unconditional loves me. I lost my 24 year old son July 2020 , he was my world! Thank you Cain for this song. I still am having a difficult time to this day. I hope Jesus was with him in open arms. I cry every day.

I’m sorry 😓 cannot begin to imagine. I have 3 boys and I cry probably once a week at the thought of something happening to them. This song reminds me of my dad who passed last year. My mom died in June '21, and I know this song is about Jesus reminding us but I can't shake the feeling that my mom is with this song as well.
Same for me, my mom passed 8/5/21. I first heard this song after I asked God for a sign while visiting my mom’s grave. I felt like this was my mom’s words to me. I can now listen to it and hear Jesus and my mom talking to me.

I would be remissed as a Bible believing Christian if I did not share with you what the Word of God says about our loved ones who are asleep waiting to be resurrected upon th return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly informs us that death is a sleep. When Lazarus died, Jesus referred to him as sleeping. We are told the same in various parts of the Bible including in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 tells us that the dead no longer have any part to play in the land of the living and that includes talking to those who are alive. In fact to communicate with those who are asleep in death is something the Bible calls necromancy and it is cited many times in the Bible as being an abomination to God.(Leviticus 19:26; Deuteronomy 18:10; Galatians 5:19-20; Acts 19:19).
I can absolutely see why this song brings you comfort because in it, is contained comforting words from our Lord: "I've conquered death and I hold the key" Hallelujah!!!
"I was dead but now I live" and because he lives we and our loved ones who fall asleep in the Lord will also live again. "Where I go, you will go too someday." Jesus says I go to prepare a place for you and I will come back and take you to spend eternity with me in my father's house (John 14:1-3). Hallelujah!!
There is no comfort in believing that your loved ones who are asleep in death are seeing everything you do. It gives me greater comfort to know that they are sleeping, resting until the resurrection.
I pray that someday soon, when Jesus returns to take us home you both will be reunited with your loved ones. ❤

5 months ago today my great grandpa passed away, I used to go to his house about every Sunday. He taught me so much about Christ and this song played at his memorial service. He was the most Christ-like person I've ever known period, I love him so much and can't wait to see him again.

My son left to go on a "risky" mission trip. As a Mom I knew he was doing what he should but the tears were rolling down my cheeks after I left him. The first song I heard in my car was this beautiful song and the first line I heard was "Go tell the world about Me." This brought me comfort. Have always loved this song.

Recently my family went through a tragedy, our grandson was still born. My daughter was 3 weeks from delivery when she realized he wasn’t moving. We had never heard this song until the night we had to drive 2 hours to get to the hospital. It literally came on every time we got in the car and many time during our journey that week. Theo song was played at Everett’s funeral the next week. It spoke to us during our time of need. It spoke about our Lord Jesus and about our grandson. Thank you for your talents and faith. It’s for a reason.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs and videos. In 2011 at 20 years old I faced death from cancer (7 months to live, one doctor said). This reminds me of how I felt being so young and probably leaving earth. I didn't have hope in Jesus back then but I do now! I love Jesus and it's a sweet encouragement that Jesus can relate with the fear and dealing with an early death. But also the hope of life eternal with Him no matter when a believer leaves earth!! This song has help me with my overwhelming grief of losing my cat, Stitch. I screamed and begged God not to take my baby. It was the worst pain I had ever experienced. To love something so unconditional and to be taken away so suddenly. Jesus was telling me that Stitch was going for a little while but goodbye's not the end. Reminding me that I'll see him again in Heaven. Bringing comfort to my still grieving heart.

My great grandma just passed away. Heard this song on the way to her funeral today. This lets me know that she is still watching over me because all she wanted to do was spread the word about Jesus, and she did. She always asked us why God did not just go ahead and bring her home to heaven and end her suffer and pain from cancer. Its hard saying goodbye, but I know she is sitting at the feet of Jesus reuniting with her husband and 2 daughters.

Due to health issues, having had 25 operations, I haven't pastored in some time. My wife of 41 years, because of severe bedsores, will soon be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My wife has never walked, being in a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, but will sometime soon take her first steps in heaven. God used this song to show me His plans for me, to again pastor, or help young pastors, and help those who are struggling. We all have different God-given talents, which we are to use for His glory. I praise God, for in the very center of this storm, He has given me His vision, so that my concentration will be on His plans, not dwelling on what is going on, because God knew I would need encouragement during this time. I believed in Jesus as a young child. Family life was abusive and I learned how to hate myself. So many times, I wished to end the pain from being the scapegoat, resented and told I shouldn't of been born. Jesus wouldn't let me end my life. He took those people out of my life and brought an angel of a husband who is everything my family never was, caring, kind and most importantly, unconditional loves me. Thank you Jesus, I am following you.
