- This is an old video that I came across and since the next few days are going to be full of family, I thought I'd share it. There was no pausing or editing so it's a bit long. Just forward through the reducing parts.
it's a really pretty flower made with purple and green. I didn't have the center cane made on the video but will try and locate it.
Clay used was Sculpey Premo purple and and green, I think.

Stagger i think may be the word you were looking for its basically like a zig zag pattern or up and down making uneven ...

Very lovely cane
A passion flower. My father planted one by our back room. It was so pretty. Very lacy. I loved it when summer came around. Had a light smell and beautiful colors.
Thanks for giving it a name. I have lived in the desert for 35 years now. Many Flowers don't survive our summer. I miss my hometown where everything bloomed year round

I would like it if you could tell us your dimensions of the clay before you start rolling. My pieces seem to turn out too small and often irregular in shape. It is very hard to get a long rectangular piece like you do. What am I doing wrong?
Hello how very beautiful are your canes , I have a confession to make I did attempt this cane and I totally messed it up sadly
Keep trying and the biggest thing is make sure you have a decent size cane to start with. Makes all the difference in the world.

What are the ends that you said to purchase to put on the ends of the cane when reducing?

I know this is an older video my first time watching QUESTION? can’t you shape the entire cane into one long Flower petal before ? Please let me know or point out to we’re it’s done or better yet show me 🌸 Thank you.
Not sure I understand. The petal Is one when pulled to 8 inches or so

@@cecesantillano9551 yes you can do that and cut individual slices to be assembled in any size you want
I sometimes do the "stick it your bra" trick to warm it up. Works!

camera view is off...cannot see all your work
You keep pulling the clay down out of camera shot. Can't see what you are doing when you are putting in the translucent
You have a tendency to work out of camera range
Actually she does really well. It’s tough when the camera is close.
