This was my first ever game. I was in Baltimore with my dad on a business trip and we got will call tickets behind home plate. I was 9. When my dad died, I learned he kept these stubs in his wallet all this time. The stubs are now in a frame in my house. Thank you for uploading this. A tear in my eye for so many reasons.
Two years before the Browns moved to Baltimore to become the Ravens. However, The Baltimore Stallions of the CFL were at Memorial Stadium around this time.
Greedy players who wanted more money who were making plenty of it but cared more about the money rather than making fans happy and it resulted in one kid going to a game that didnt even happen which sadly already turned out to be his last because he probably never went to another game ever again after that because thae players at that time didn't give a damn.

Quality, no-frills reporting. A lost art.
Makes sense that Nightline went to nearby Baltimore from D.C. to cover the pending strike.
Can’t believe that next month will be the 30 year anniversary of the baseball strike

The strike canceled the 1994 playoffs and ended in April 1995.
Back when WJZ was an ABC affiliate, WMAR was NBC, and WBAL was CBS.
I wasn’t even born yet. Sweet dreams though wish it was the 90’s again.
This was the wrong season to have a strike..
The incoming MLB Lockout brought me here.
Won’t be the same. This is during the off season. We haven’t lost games yet.
