Kelly Kettle "usa" is having a holiday sale so I've decided to go ahead and order the base kit (since there its two of us). We often spend a day by the water fishing and we like to visit both historical and nature parks. We like taking long walks. [but at our age (70s right around the corner) I wouldn't call it hiking exactly🤣] We've always just taken a cold picnic lunch because who wants to carry in the camp stove! The kelly kettle looks like just the right compact kit we would enjoy using. Glad I found your channel! It was the video/short in which you cooked the top of the food by sitting the stove on the pan. I hadn't seen anyone do that before...it intrigued me. Two thumbs up on that brilliant idea! 💡😁👍👍 Edit: I find plant based "meatballs or sausage" are pretty good. I mean "meat" is just the base of them, its the the way you season them that makes them what they are, right?
That’s awesome. Hope you have as much fun as I do cooking on it! Glad to hear you found a deal on a kit too. As you may know already, the Kelly Kettle originated from Ireland and fishing is mentioned with its history so I’m sure you’ll find this the perfect accompaniment to your adventures. Thanks again for your continued support! 😊
That’s awesome, thank you! Hope you enjoy my other videos (and future ones) just as much. Happy new year to you too - I’ll have to wait 8 hours on top of you before I start celebrating though 😂🥳
Hard to express on film how good they were but I was impressed with the plant balls and for a full plate of food was pretty straightforward to cook on the Kelly Kettle.
This looks so tasty! I love Ikea plant balls - much better eating in the woods than in a crowded restaurant! Have you ever made a Reuben sandwich? I had my first reuben sandwich in New York and it was so tasty! I think New York claim to be the home of the reuben sandwich but it might be German based on the ingredients?
Thank you! IKEA was so busy when I went so it was good to get into the woods 😊. Never heard of a Reuben Sandwich, but having just looked it up I’m adding that to the list of campfire cooking ideas! 🤤
Well done again, I need to add a set of the Kelly Kettle plates to my Trekker so 1 can be used as a larger frypan. Thank you for sharing & showing how to make full use of the fantastic Kelly Kettle. Have a great Christmas.
if all this stuff is so great why is it always called some kind of meat, meatballs, burgers and so on. psychological manipulation of sheep. Call it what it is, stop all the misinformation and be upfront about it.
Packaging in the UK is generally pretty clear on what is contains with ingredients clearly listed. I eat both meat and plant based alternatives. So long as it tastes good I’m happy.

This looks extra tasty and easy to do on the kelly kettle.

Nice 1 matey, great bit of food that, and a great stroll in the outdoors. 👍
Thank you. Good to make the most of it whilst the weathers good, and the woods are lovely this time of year. Merry Christmas. Cheers. Neil
Another top video, showing what can be done with the Kelly Kettle & their accessories. Thank you for sharing & all the best for 🎄
Thanks for checking out the video. That one was bit of a challenge. Good fun though. Happy Holidays to you too!

If flesh is so good, why is it always called "meat" or "balls" or "burgers"?
