Thanks Jungle. And the interviewer. Id like to hear an interview with some of the older greats..doyle..greenstein ect.. we need those interviews before its to late.
Please always ask how they got into poker and how long it took to be successful etc, it is super important in poker interviews and everyone wants someone insight, would have loved to hear it on all of the podcasts
Sometimes these geniuses find it hard to put their thoughts into words. Reminds me of Elon Musk. Much love to Jungle - he is giving enough back to the world by inspiring other poker players

I really think that former online poker's bemoaning their struggles with live cash simply are not willing to recognize that life cash is a different animal than online poker. I was playing 2-5NL locally and a reg pro was like who’s your favorite player. I’m like I started in late 90s and online hit in the 2000s, Jungleman was tops with Isilder1 etc. Even if he didn’t win live and online for years n years afterwards, dudes just super entertaining and no bad vibes

I have watched most of these interviews and I notice that almost all of the poker players make very limited eye contact with the interviewer unless the interviewer is asking a question... they seem to go off into a space thats out of the norm.
This guy is predicting Covid.-19. He senses doom and division on a global level. He is not talking poker. Smart guy with a bigger vision than poker. Right for all the wrong reasons.
All of these deserve so many more views. I wish the whole poker community would get behind the channel
We haven’t had this type of content since the dwan, ivey & Antonious days.

This feels like I am watching jungle in a personal therapy session
surprised he wasn't getting a massage during the interview
🤣

Does this interviewer make a podcast?? Millions would listen to that - he is sooo goood.
How can you not like this guy
As a fellow autist, I love him.
@@MrBoxingVideos It's an act.
The interviewer is top notch. Jungle is likable. This interview was intriguing.
this guy is sooooooo NAIVE its amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
I feel like I'm watching a video in my psychology class on living with high functioning Autism.
a lot of high performers are undiagnosed autists. if you want to label them.
For me it's like looking in the mirror
Jungleman is an honest and up front guy who seems to know himself very well. Respect.
He just robbed people
He is incredibly meticulous about everything! This is what makes him such a great poker player!
Thanks Jungle. And the interviewer. Id like to hear an interview with some of the older greats..doyle..greenstein ect.. we need those interviews before its to late.
These interviews are fantastic!
The smartest guys ever all seem weird and have bad social skills. It’s because they think totally different than 99% of us. So much more intellect
High functioning autistic INTP’s
Great content once again. Thank you so much!
I just realized jungle man sounds like Beavis when he talks. pretty cool
No he sounds like Butthead, not Beavis..sounds nothing like Beavis.
Jon R Yes definitely sounds like Butthead
Jungle seems a lovely guy, wish him all the best!
Wow, thank you for this one.
These are so so great. Everybody that plays should be listening to stretch their head with an all time great.
Learn from this wealth of experience.

Great interviewer. Great guest. Love it.
Horrible interview- dude is woefully inarticulate

the music makes it more dramatic than it actually is.

Thanks a bunch
Why does it matter what he sounds like? Jungle is a legend...
Nice finally we get to see cates
Seems like a really good guy!

Man, what a great intervjuer! Good on you Paul! Def need to watch the rest. Great stuff!
First minute into interview: I can see why he is called Jungleman.
It's because he was hairy in college, there's no deep meaning lol...
chooses his words so carefully
where is the subtitles in english ):
17:06 when your opponent jams pre-flop and you have pocket aces
Hahahaha shadow realm inbound
I respect jungle so much, he and I both have assburgers and we use it to our advantage, I am chef who makes hamburgers with a special flavor.
Special white creamy flavor?
Jungle is soo naive!!! Its what makes him so amazing!
Wonderful interview.
holy shit it takes alot to watch this interview!
nice channel Paul! Can I ask what kind of camera you use? Looks excellent!
This man is awesome !
Great interview!!!
One player i never get tired of watching. Throw in Ivey TonG and Lisandro
You guys need to improve the quality man, I watch both tom and this interview. The audio is off from the video. It just feel wrong.
They could take the stupid distracting music off for a start
Interviewer clearly wants to hire Jungleman. (This felt like a job interview)
Good questions by Paul.

Get back in your hole peasant
I love how Dwan was the only one who didn't say it at the end
say wat exactly?
could you stop putting depressing music I want to learn something here
This guy is the best interviewer out their. Such deep questions that most of us are all hoping the interviewer asks.
He just threw people who live in huts and people who work a 9-5 into the same category 😂
I cant tell if ummm or uhhh is jungles favorite word🤔🤔🤔
Wait I made it to the end "Uhhh my name is Daniel Cates, I am highstakes poker". Uhhhh wins
What a linguistic genius
lol
Is it just me or does Jungle look different in this video? Can't put my finger on it. Younger than some the older videos.

is he high? i had three headaches in 16 mn
How many of these guys if they had not stumbled onto poker would have been working at Target or Bestbuy? Most do not have skills outside of poker m

The real question is, how much has jungle spent on massages 💆♂️ hahahaha
such an interesting human

I have the same tik as jungleman

PS everyones doing chess, gaming franchises, crypto and charity.. I wish he'd push himself a bit more cos hes really insightful.
he would be a great philosopher
Daniel Cates gives a much more interesting and articulate interview than Tom Dwan.
Wish I could take 10k chips and turn them into 10 million as easy as I did in Zynga poker LOL
I’ve enjoyed the other interviews but this one feels very awkward.
I'm guessing he's on the autism spectrum
Put some respek on Jungleman’s name😂
first minute : he cant pronouce three words in a row and when i heard " i like to be really smart about stuff , im proud of that" , i just went to bed
Thin patience huh?
Bro I cried laughing when I read this comment 🤣🤣🤣
I have watched most of these interviews and I notice that almost all of the poker players make very limited eye contact with the interviewer unless the interviewer is asking a question... they seem to go off into a space thats out of the norm.
Visual thinkers have to do a lot of work to translate the abstract ideas into words.
A very hard watch I found myself finishing his sentences
hi im the interviewer , my eyes are very close to each other. jungleman " me too"
I hope my reply makes you read your own comment and you get embarrassed by such a low class statement.
If we hear how many millions Jungleman has won, I guess these will not be net-winnings?
.
Not necessarily but most of it is considering he's been living off poker most of his life
If I have his brain I would crushing poker, but I am biggest fish in micro limits daaamn
I hate to say it since he seems like a good guy, but he's kinda boring in this interview. He's alot cooler on the felt.
lol wtf !
Maybe you should learn how to communicate better that could be a challenge
GREAT LAST NAME "CATES" THAT IS MY MAIDEN LAST NAME!!!!!!!
I dare all the shampions of Texas holde'm poker I am the king profissional player
This proves that poker is a mere game. Games are won and lost. Ultimately, you will lose.

There is no way any of these people have money. There is just something off with all of them. Maybe Igor kurganov was the only normally smart person
I like to uh..
i love u

It is a struggle to listen to this man talk. Ummm like ummm or itsitsistits I think ummm professor ummm like smart and stuff

Well, very uninspiring
guys, watch mr cates at the poker table. He is absolutely miserable. He clearly hates his professional life. This is not the life for happiness.
Lol really? Did you only watch him lose that huge pot with aces? Watch Michael Jordan while he is working; it's called focus.
He uh would've uh uh been uh um a great uh uh uh professor
hu hu hu hu! um um um!
He's on the range, and that's more than ok.
Did you mean "spectrum"? lol

He name should be beavis or butthead. Ugh huh. Like uh duh that's like so 12 year old valley girl talk
I wanted to be a professor but I didn’t want to learn and stuff. Typical degen.
