Do micros please and see and let the people see how many lucky donks and how many bad beats will be in that territory

I've done some streams at the micros before.
You do encounter many more inexperienced players with "unusual" strategies but learning to beat fish is just as important as learning to beat regs.
Should still crush them at micros basically (just with more comedy) 😄

@@NickWalshTV ok tnx for the answer, put a link to your vids with micros here please, going to watch them for sure. and maybe drop a vid with suggestions on how to avoid so many bad beats. I have registered like a thousand in the last three months

      @@villain562 I used to play 200/300 a day buddy (~9,000 a month).
If you are beating the games you play then "volume beats variance".
Bad beats are just a boring reality, you get past them by playing the next game!

@@NickWalshTV buddy that is maybe true, but very generic. I learned a thing or two in statistics school. 1000 units are enough to have a valid sample. I have many more than a thousand spins lost by dominating the opponent. my statistics say that the spins lost while dominating are between 65% and 95%! it is therefore mathematically impossible to win with spins in the medium and long term. unless you get a high multiplier and win. which is very unlikely

@@villain562 I personally know dozens of people who literally play SAGs full time mate - yes, multipliers are part of your expected game average - yes, most won't hit the super jackpot (which doesn't change much if you consistently beat low / mids) - yes, it is very high variance - still a beatable format.
You don't have to believe me but I've been playing hypers professionally since 2017 over +50k game sample alongside others who've played quadruple that with results that very closely match their expected $ ROI compared to cEV results.
      That's not an accident 😄

For that A8o hands,If villian trap more then rejam light is not profitable. Not quiet sure where is the boarder lane

    • @NickWalshTV
      @NickWalshTV  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Assuming you're talking about the hand where we shove K2 vs. A8 limp (tell me if I missed something).
      1.) It's a not a rejam - we are shoving vs. limp - rejam is a shove vs open / 2bet.
2.) K2o is 100% shove at equilibrium which, by definition, means that it's unexploitable - this means that if our opponent is "trapping more" then they will be limping at too high a frequency (or by extension folding too tight a range with the intention of trapping stronger range) to be optimal and our response (the way we play ALL of our range not just this combo) will profit from that adjustment or if they are "trapping less" the same is true in the opposite direction.
It's hard to explain in a YT comment but at these shallower stack depths it's nearly impossible for our opponent to adjust their ranges / frequencies / ranges to exploit the K2o shove (plus if you look it up we do this with LOADS of similar combinations which makes the math even stronger).
      Basically:
If he's trapping a STRONGER range here to "exploit" then he's overfolding hands that he should still be limping OR he's opening his medium strength combos up to too much exposure / exploitation when I check back when they insta-profit from a shove.
If he's shoving TOO wide as opposed to trapping optimally, he just loses vs. standard push/fold/call ranges because our range is stronger.
The best way to combat our strategy at this stack depth is to play GTO and you will basically never outperform that.
If we are deeper there is way more nuance though and preflop exploits become MUCH more powerful (but much also remains the same of what I said above.
GL GL in your games! 😁

@@NickWalshTV Thanks for this detail reply. Villian will lose a bit by not overlimp many more hands and also lose by letting us realise more equity. But if his limp range is stronger than gto we cant shove as gto default. Our marginal shove will lose ev against a tighter range
