@Shobek your Stealth-Stun jutsu is no match for the light! On a real note I remember the duel this was fun. Shout out to everyone Horde and Ally that let us one on one.
hahaha, I never thought I watch a 10min + struggle to kill a classic paladin and find it entertaining. That was some good shit ^^
Paladin vs rogue was a rough match. Almost as bad as mage vs warrior.
@@Bluebull-is8ci Yep, you really gotta rot em out and you need to be just as geared as them to even have a chance. Usually I 5cp garrote rupture them and run like I’m fighting a warrior. 5cp garrote rupture usually forces them to bubble early so I can force them to blow their cooldowns on not dying, mainly because their heals are extremely mana inefficient(or make a dwarf blow his stoneform so I can go for a full stunlock on him to force his bubble). Then I just try to make them go half health when their forbearance debuff is up, blind and sap them so they can’t heal and then proceed to nuke their healthbar with gnomish deathray + coldblood evis to kill them.

@@epicsasquatch452 Good luck with that, I have 7k health + Shell and 6.5k armor, with 2 bubbles, LoH, pots and Stoneform.
All I need to do is wait to get critted 4 times, then oneshot you.
Seeing him not using FoL when able and not keeping BoW up constantly was a bit of a pain.
I first thought: "10 mins, I will not see it all, but let's see what he is up to".
10 mins later: "is it alrdy over?!"

I remember playing a Troll Rogue as my main back in vanilla and can honestly state Paladins were my hardest fight with a 50/50 win/lose ratio, though a good Druid, which was much more rare back then, was even harder! I got so frustrated after a while, a friend said to go make a Paladin and learn from it. So that is what I did. I powered through leveling a Paladin and played till about rank eight on her. Never had a Rogue beat me and when on my Rogue, I had about a 75% chance to win against a well played Paladin thereafter.
As a paladin, against this kind of rogue tactic, you can pretty much just dispel yourself and run the opposite direction, then mount and leave 😂

No, you wait for him to use his vanish then you use free action potion and put judgement of seal of justice on him. Then he can't CC you, can't kite you and can't run away from you to restealth (judgement of justice limits the targets movement speed to 100%, meaning ANY run speed increase effects even mounts will not work). When he can't CC you, or kite you his only option is to stand and trade blows with you, in which case you should be able to outlast him

This brings me relief as a rogue main back in Vanilla and on. Pallys wrecked me 10/10 times. Shobek is the best rogue and still got sent to the shadow realm. Excuse me now, I must get back to yelling at children from the porch to stay off my damn grass.

Great video, I laughed very entertaining. Just to add some information. Paladins is very well geared, probably as close to BiS as can be. MoM is obviously the BiS weapon. Paladin specced more so on the PVE side of things. 31 Retribtuion minimum. Maybe 20 prot? could be 15 prot with 5 into holy.
Both played well had fun watch. If he was a Reckoning spec Paladin he would be 25 prot/26 ret more than likely. And that is what we call the rogue killer spec. Of course nothing is 100% certain. But essentially you play around. Get crit(generates an extra auto attack on your next swing stacking up to 4 times) get stacks, unleash 4-5 (5 swings if you use the trinket Hand of Justice - chance on hit to generate an extra swing) Auto attacks in 1 swing. 6 with Seal of Command Proc. That's the 1 shot trick build. Typically nothing a rogue can do against that if it lands. Just die. Thought I'd try to inform some people on the differences between specs. 31 points into Retribution give you more control with Repentance but less burst.
Edit: Released upon rewatch he used cons 11 points into Holy bear minimum. Straight PVE build
Paladin had consecration, redoubt, and repentence so that is at least 11/5/31. Only 5 points leftover. Probably some in prot for quicker blessing of protection, or a bit more in holy/ret. But not much new stuff once you have those 3 abilities.

Some paladin weapons and gear procs allow you to store your attacks, such as Untamed blade proc and lightforge 6pieces, so instead of 1 attack you do 2, if applied correctly + potential Seal of Casino proc + HoJ. Paladins are random but overall that happens alot during fight or in mass pvp

Finally, the Paladin used a judgement offensively when you thought you could bandage up. Fun times though, that fight could have gone on forever to be honest as they could have conserved mana by bandaging or used mana pots too.

tip; if the paladin doesn't properly set up the stun combo with a SoTC to swap to a 2h for a faster swing, he's not going to have much damage with the 1h out unless he gets lucky with a high damage one like deathbringer + a bunch of procs (chili, lifestealing) so you can usually expect them to have a lot less damage with their 1h out in a HoJ
