His magazine was one of the major reasons that i joined the military, read the book a few weeks ago, a person can only pray to have that interesting of a life, gotta go out and chase it i guess.
my late father reads the magazine back in the 80,s and 90's, my love of guns and knives sprung from looking at the ads. whenever i see a copy on a used bookstore, i always get all i can.
Nobody put their lives on the line to fight in Rhodesia for money. That was an insult. I earned a whopping 128.00 bucks as a regular soldier when I enlisted. I fought to protect innocent farmers from savage communist terrorists.
The legend. What a man. Look at Karl Penta's "Have Gun Will Travel" when he talks of Bob coming to Suriname with gear and booze to support the British Mercs fighting with the Jungle Commando's against the dictatorship. Awesome fun. p.s. why do fucking American TV anchors have to dumb down and repeat what the guy just said with his own little dumb expression and body language. We understand the guys story first time over. You do not have to explain more. "what is a soldier of fortune?" seriously? prat.
Why is there no documentary about Soldier of Fortune Magazine?

I feel like I was born in the wrong generation. Still tense over in Africa. Your service is noted by me, good Sir.
I joined the Army in 1980 and subscribed to the magazine in Benning until about 1995 but I did get the 25th anniversary issue at a newsstand
Excellent interview of Lt. Col. Brown.
I got less shit from my parents for having a stash of Hustlers than for having one SoF.

You already have gun rights in Colorado. It's called the Second Amendment. Well except you forfeited all that so you could legalize pot.
Guns + Marijuana = Freedom
Not how it works. They lost it bc dems will always politicize mass shootings and bc Colorado if full of dems.
What? Show me where in the constitution the federal government is given the right to ban pot or any drug
That isnt how the constitution works. The constitution is mainly a series of restrictions on the state.
Some did it for the money
Perfect take on Dudley Brown. Charlatan. Grifter.
