I lived in a house exactly like this in 1968, Inverness Terrace off the Bayswater Road. No housekeeper then, I lived in three different flats in the house, one just to the right of the front door, then basement, then top floor. I used to climb out of the window on the top floor and sunbathe on the roof 😊
