An older video showed up in my feed just now. I’m as happy to watch, as I am for the latest posts. The snow is particularly interesting. Thanks, and carry on.
I have ridden all day at 100kph (1000km+ days). The bike just lopes along comfortably at that speed, although it has very little left and overtaking anything is out of the question. It is not the bike for anyone that likes major highways or high speed though.
Engine is standard. Gearing is raised (31 tooth rear cog) for leisurely cruising and to make the first gear usable. Personally, I think trying to increase performance on these bikes is missing the point. As far as I have been able to determine, there is no quick or easy way to increase compression of the NF without major surgery. If you want a faster bike, buy a faster bike.
I understand your point..with some higher gearing a bike also gets more sensitive for wind ahead.., still, i would try to find out if trimming the cylinder foot or head would be possible.. but i understand your point completely, i myself have (besieds 2 jawa's) an enfield with 13hp diesel engine..

Thanks Phil. I miss that bike. We usually have plenty of snow but when the roads are clear and dry......😃

Again, nice. I have more snow and frozen too. Love the Guzzi.

Yes, probably. Can't remember. Probably 2 or 3c.

@@nick949eldo Thank you!🏕️
Can you cruise 100km/h on such a bike or is that too fast?

I understand, is your engine std? maybe you can gain some power by increrasing the low compression ratio..
