Like obviously ZVD was inane, but three weeks later I'm coming back for Clutch tbh. He's a monster. His bass is electrifying, I wish he'd find reasons to do more of it.
everybody hyped for ZVD but lets not forget how good Clutch is, his singing on his beats are fitting each other and he is so flowy, i liked them both, personally for me 1st round was for Clutch but the aggressiveness and precision with battle mentality ZVD brought in 2nd round gave me the conclusion that he dominated it, but nonetheless big ups to Clutch also, very underrated in the scene.
Yeah Clutch has great singing and flow, only when I tried doing his beats I realized how fucking hard it was to simply not mess up the hats tempo because of singing the melody.
Yeah cluth's technicality is on point but ur are a dickhead if u don't agree that zvd's whole shit was out of this world and u can clearly tell that he put his all In on this shit aswell
Regardless of how underrated clutch is and trust me I know how technical it was zvd absolutely smashed him to bits and u know it's the truth 😂😂 but fair playto clutch he did his thing really well !

I don‘t think there is anything more badass, than starting your round very calm, proceeding to get close to the opponent and telling him to listen to his annihilation
I love how stoked everyone is for each competitor, even the dudes battling each other. Seeing Clutch just give that stank face for ZVD on that 2nd round, ZVD studying his opponent with respect and giving nods to when he pulls off a routine, even doing little gestures and dances with his beat AGAINST him. And that crowd just chatting with each other over what they just heard, yelling out when something was sick, or just them going NUTS when someone is going crazy. This is what music is about I swear, I'm not even a beatboxer I'm a DJ and I wish our community had this much respect for one another.

This was at an airbnb that a big group of beatboxers got during the American Beatbox Champs this year. We definitely want to continue this series, so we're constantly working to get a budget to throw the next one and hopefully bring out some beatboxers too!
