I briefly had one of these under the AeroMax label years ago before giving it away due to how loud it was and little air it moved. I actually did a comparison between it and the HASF-1701 with the HASF-1701 doing a better job. After seeing this video, part of me wishes I kept the AeroMax just to switch the guards and bladesets to see how much of a difference it would make
I just found one of these at the thrift store yesterday, absolute crap but I got it because I figured I’d balance it and it’s just a very interesting 2000’s piece.
@@JordanU oh definitely, I suspect that if we changed out the rear guards we would end up with much better performance. Also the balance, yours doesn’t seem to be as bad as mine is, it shakes so bad on low that you can hear an audible thumping sort of sound and you can see the whole head of the fan just dancing around. Absolutely nuts, mine seems to also have high hours and has been cleaned a few times. I shall upload a video of that as well once I get done recording and choosing what vids to post in what order lol.
@@TheSuperFanMan The grill designs in general were bad, they only fixed it at the near end of the classic series production when they used a plastic back grill that was rectangular in shape for the blade to have proper clearance
11:04. Good old Percussive Persuasion never fails.

It clearly doesn’t know air logic
Holmes Abysmal Logic
Good initial checkout video of this Holmes air Logic stand fan it works better with the rear grille off bro

It is an interesting piece from the era, but the performance is just abysmal.

I agree with you, Jordan it’s a silly gimme fan of false claims doesn’t even does has a guard that other year to go through that’s just outrageous
Thanks for letting me know.
I used to have the 12" table version. Bought it new in 2006 at Target. It stunk right out of the box.
I didn't know there was a table version also. What a joke.
I remember that video of the comparison between that thing and the Control Aire fan which blew it out of the water. What a piece of junk.
@@andrewg593 I was little when watching that video too and that holmes table fan was loud.
4:49 That blade balance is incredibly pitiful
It is.
Dont know why but at the start of the video, It looked like a Metal blade
Wow bro maybe you can add a different cover and blade set then it will be much better but that blade is a wired design. I enjoyed the video bro
My late great grandmother had that fan before
Thanks for letting me know.
My Neighbor had one of those
That's unfortunate
Many Holmes fans from that time period had awful grille aerodynamics. I’ve seen the 12” desk version of this, and its performance was poor too.

Even those guards were unreasonably dense and created excessive restriction and noise.
It a nice fan
I think it's a terrible fan.
I like it
I don't
Holmes Air Logic? more like Holmes Waste Logic.
holmes using the old arno fan blades shape but modified and horrible
OK
