Thank you for showing the putting it back together part and being honest about how hard it can be and that it requires a lot of patience 😄 I'm waiting for the right mindset and confidence levels to give this a go... 😜
I was getting ready to just buy a new Joy when I watched your video. I, instead, bought the rollers you recommended and hope to heaven that I can replace them myself. If I screw it up, I'll continue on with my original plan and buy a new one. You may have just saved me $100.
Thank you so much❤
Your welcome...my Joy is still working perfectly after all this time. I've done lots of projects and it seems to holding up just fine. 🙂
I removed the side belt to put one of the c clips back on. Anyone know how to get it back on without snapping it?
I didn't remove the belt, but I would gently use a small screw driver to pull, stretch it back into place. I don't know if this helps, hopfully it won't break.
I bought the rollers but I don’t think I can do this.
I watched alot of TH-cam videos before attempting it. It was nerve wrecking, but it worked out.
If it's somthing your uncomfortable with...there are Cricut Joy cutters being sold on Mercari for a good price.
@@theshabbyrose I would feel even less comfortable buying on those sites
@@theshabbyrose I did get it. Not sure I would do it again. The strength required to stretch that spring was almost too much. I am not getting stronger with my health issues including arthritis in my hands
I understand the health limits totally. My wrists are not as strong as they used to be. It was a struggle. Congratulations on getting the job done!!!!
Hi, where did you buy the rubber?
They can be found on Ebay. Make sure it is for your machine though. Joy rubbers are smaller in diameter then the Maker rubbers. Found that out the hard way. 😄
