- IM A SUPER OBSESSED FAN OF ANYTHING DEWY AND GLOWY. So even though there are a lot of products on the market like this....I jumped at ordering this! Today I'm seeing how this new product performs and if it is in fact a Dupe for the Hollywood Flawless Filter!

Hey Joanne! I use the Flawless filter by itself sometimes too! I dont think this one I would do that with. It is lovely for radiance and dew though!! Stunning for such an affordable product!

Maybe I’m crazy but at the end when you were using it with the sponge as a highlighter it reminded me of the em cosmetics cushion highlighter and how that looked on you 😁
You are not crazy amber! I thought so too! This is a dupe for at least 3 pretty pricey dewy/glowy highlights. Maybe not for me for all over the face but def as a highlight!

Oh My! What a good idea to mix the Nars Soft Matte and the EL Futurist foundation!! I love it and will go straight to test it! Please share what shades you have in those? I also do a bit of mixing and would absolutely love to see a mixing video!! Your 10 best mixes or something? Please! :-D
Yes I have it on my list for a new video !!! Hopefully I will get to it soon! I have a few others lined up first. I’m the worst at linking shades! I’m so sorry! In the nars I’m “Vallauris medium 1.5” and in the Futurist I’m Shell Beige. Although I think that’s not my perfect shade match. So mixing helps with that! thanks for this review..watched someone who said it was a bb cream?? Based on your coverage I agree more of a possible primer and not a dupe for ct..and has a liquid highlighter looks beautiful on you!!
ya for some reason on the bottle of the product it does say bbcream in small fine print hahahaha I would NOT categorize it as that! I think a bb cream would have a bit more coverage. Although I have a lot of freckles and spots so it isnt going to look as even on me no matter what. I think the Charlotte Tilbury definitely has way more pigment to it! THanks for watching friend!

Hmmmmm I could see that but this has way more radiance and glow. I can actually use the shape tape glow as a light concealer. I don’t think this work for me in that capacity. But it might totally work for other people. That’s what I love about makeup!!!
There is a 00 shade, Fair/light. I have it, just got it. Haven’t tried it yet.

When i first saw this i was super excited as i thought it would be a glowy foundation, and a glowy foundation compared to their other foundation they have in that packaging. But, lord, a lot of other people had the same experience as you ! lol Like, since it works best as a highlighter they should have put it in a smaller tube
Right!? A WAY smaller tube lol. Some people may actually enjoy this all over the face. I don’t have the best skin for that. But it is a fantastic highlight!
@@heyjess Yeah a way smaller tube! I have dry skin and love anything dewy and recently tried the Huda Glowish- but sadly it wasn't that hydrating and clung to some dry patches- it wasn't my dream dewy product( and didn't work under my fav SPF, i mean i wear tints all the time in the day and need SPF too). But, what is interesting is that Huda Glowish was pretty much like a highlighter all over my face lol- which i thought i would love for some reason.So, i think this Maybelline sounds like a dupe for Huda's.But, it's interesting cause i could see now there is def a difference between your face being dewy vs your face full of highlighter lol.
You lost me when you said if you don’t want a blinding highlight 🤣 I totally want that dewy look under my foundation but I also have large pores so I haven’t found anything that works. However this does make for a beautiful highlight. 💚
Same girl. I’m a walking giant pore I feel like but with dry skin 🤷🏼♀️ dewy is the name of my game. Although it isn’t hard these days with how hot it is. Dont get me wrong....I still like a blinding highlight from time to time but just not as much 😆
I was thinking on buying the Auric one, I already had the CT, but hated the wand applicator. Maybe I'll try this one instead, muuuch cheaper.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper! And not unlike the chanel beiges highlight but with a little more power to it! It won’t break the bank. So if you hate it then get the other one!
I have the Chanel Le blanc rosy light drops, also love it, similar to the le beige, but more pearlescent. Still, I don't want to use it everyday 💸💸. I love that a drugstore brand finally did a similar product!
I don’t see mascara under products used or if you used lashes on just the outer part? Like Half lashes?

I'm not a fan of this product on you. I may get it just to try it if they have a sale at some point but really, there's so much good make up out there now. I'm in love with Clinique all over. It's just so smooth and I never have a red face when I take it off (as happens with Lancome, unfortunately b/c I do love it).
Yes I recently went back into clinique and clarins! I’ve been going back to brands I used to love! I like this product as a dupe for a couple of high end highlighters! But prolly won’t use it for all over. Thanks for watching Marta!

Ugh there are a few brands like this for me too. There’s a couple drugstore brands in particular where the entire line has an undertone that I just can’t use 🤷🏼♀️maybe they will do some fill in shades like Charlotte tilbury did!
I liked the review but I laughed when you said you’re a medium and how dark the medium is. Like girl, people of color exist. You’re a medium shade of fair, maybe
That’s a pretty bold statement to put against someone. Im well aware of different skin colors. As you might not be aware...lighting plays a huge role in what people see in TH-cam videos. In real life I am and have always been in the lighter bracket of the medium shades makeup companies provide. As listed in the foundations I use in my other videos you can see that. I can only base my opinions off the makeup I am using in the moment on my own skin. I’m glad you liked the review but I think it’s important no matter what your skin color is ...your own opinion of the product matters just as much as anyone else.

idk if you noticed but most makeup shade ranges don't go very dark at all, and that's not a good thing. It's one thing if it surprised you by being darker but the way you said it sounded like you think it's wrong for a shade marked medium to be that "dark"
Good heavens....I’ve got to be able to have genuine reactions to makeup or this channel would be useless. It was a huge jump from light to medium and that was my surprise. I’m sorry if this offends does you. It’s never my intention to do that with my videos. It’s Intended to be a fun space to relax for a few mins from the trials of life. I think the shade range is awful for this product for what it’s worth. And yes....yes I did love my comment lol 😆
