It does appear that BABYMETAL is really trying to expand their (?) range. Su is singing in English in this video as well as in the Bring Me the Horizon collaboration. The video itself is really the first time I have seen all three ladies in a context other than their strict choreographed routines. They have been performing for over ten years but the oldest is still only in her mid twenties. And yes, I have never heard of Electric Callboy before this.

The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more. For some weird fakking reason people think they are so very different thay they dont understand how they blend so well. Its not as obvious as it maybe should be due to the absolute chasm of difference in vocal style. But if you remove the vocals and just listen to the instrumentals, they have *_many_* songs that are extremely similar in style. Still different enough to put their own tint on this production but so similar is literally feels like this isnt even a colab but the the actual concept of one band.
