I'd assume that the scarlet and violet version of Evolving Skies in terms of price/popularity in the end will either be the Team Rocket set, 151 or the rumored terrastallized eeveelutions set

*extra shit* Alright so after YEARS me and my brother had seen some Pokémon cards in the store just doing some snack shopping (we were high) somehow we made our way over to the toy section and there were some Pokémon cards. He pointed out how fun it would be to open up some packs high, but I’m the type of person who liked completing sets during the XY era so I don’t really want to start this and end up dumping 100’s of dollars into sets..
151 was really fun to collect!

False iono isnt even in the top 2 in english. Carmine and perrin both are valued higher. Juat saying. Twilight is leading right now. But this top to bottom will probably be better. Especially the fake pikachu hype that always dies down
Completely agree with this video should be head and shoulders above anything else sv so far.
My favorite set in sword and shield was battle styles. I had so much fun with both urshifu decks. Not so much fun with the decks from evolving skys. So I wouldn't personally say evolving skies was the best set.

Based off the cards shown there’s. Lot of payable cards I would argue there’s 2 or pre top tier decks that can come out of surging sparks
It’s a bit too early to say, I think. Maybe regarding playability yes it could be the best, collectability I doubt. There is way too much hype around it atm to judge properly. I still think that having the 3 generation 9 evolution line and the legendaries all in illustration /special illustrations rare(Paldea evolved) is very hard to beat. That is just too cool hahaha. Will see in a few months if it’s right

yeah i wasnt so sure if surging sparks was gonna be it but with the double set and the size of it we might see twilight movement. definitely has some big chases in the set too

It’s the single hardest card to pull from any set in the entire scarlet and violet era, 700 packs in and still haven’t pulled it, amazing artwork, voted most popular pokemon in 2022…how wouldn’t it be the most expensive card…

As a Pokemon collector and player. I’m siding with you. This set will appeal to everyone
People fanboy over evolving skies that was top 5 of that gen at best apart from a few solid illy arts ill never think it’s as good as so many make it out to be but that is my own opinion. As for surging sparks I’m not really sure how I feel about it so far it looks like it should’ve been a more special set the way it is very much themed shrouded fable didn’t feel like it had a theme like 151 or paldean fates. The last 3-4 sets have been decent but nothing crazy. Scarlet violet gen so far temporal, 151, and paradox rift have been my favorites overall card per card art design. Sword shield gen astral radiance silver tempest and crown zenith were all better than evolving and all had wayyyy better pull rates and im saying that even after having most of evolving skies master set.
I wish this channel would talk about shrouded fable dipping like 40 percent, what is going on, is it worth investing in, is it gonna dip lower, so many questions..
Probably do well purely because the masses don't want to hoard it. Personally I like it.

personally, i absolutely hate surging sparks. its so boring its got nothing new, and on top of that its a pikachu set. also we just got stellar crown which got no time to be the cool set because surging sparks appeared with pikachu and suddenly no on cares anymore. i just want surging sparks to wait aa while because stellar crown is so much cooler in every way. thats my opinion feel free to make a counter argument
