Are you able to top off the fluid? I’ve had my seals replaced twice within the last year, and they’re still leaking. Wondering if I can fill it up without having to drain it. Thank you for the video

You could add more fork oil easily enough from the top, but not sure how much you would need to add. If all the oil leaks out, then you can just fill it with the full recommended level. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to measure the amount the leaked out to make sure you don't overfill.
WOW, two seal replacements and still having leaks? Are there any nicks on the tubes? That's the only thing I can think of that would cause that. Oh and are you using OEM seals or aftermarket? Sometimes getting the BMW ones will seal better.
Thanks for watching and Good Luck !!!

@@kintsugimotohi. Is it really necessary to disassemble forks for refill and clean all inside the fork or i can just refill oil without it?

@@mruniverse5704 You can refill without taking the forks apart. There's a drain plug at the bottom and a fill plug at the top. So just drain the old oil out and refill with fresh oil at the top.
Make sure to use a new crush washer and DON't over tighten :) Have Fun!!

Hi there. Is there no need to de/compress at any stage during draining/filling oil..?

You have to compress the shocks during draining to make sure you get all of the old oil out. I wasn't able to film it, because it's a two-handed job :) And it's a bit messy, so make sure that you have something to direct the oil into your pan, it starts to squirt out when you compress the shocks.
After I finished filling the shocks and closing the drain plug, I did bounce up and down on the front forks to get the oil distributed.
      Hope that helps!!

Where did you source the drain and fill plug crush washers from? Thanks!

The best place to get them is from your local BMW motorcycle dealership. Otherwise, my local Ace Hardware store had some that were pretty close. Hope that helps :) Thanks for watching and commenting!!
