Be prepared for the heated seat to be wet when it’s above 10 degrees F or so. Bring a rope along and jack as well for when you get stuck, and a shovel.
Will do, helluvatool all on its own as a puller.. the only times I got stuck on my bearcat was playing.. when I was working? Never once. Made for a load I guess. The VK pro seems a bit much for a do all trapper rig, no?
Sorry for the delayed response, TH-cam doesn't always notify me of comments. I'm pretty tired of this 09 VK. In later videos I've gone on about the wet ride, the constant water fall on the under carriage, and ONLY key start. It left me walking and calling for help a couple times this season, once when the battery jump pack I had was dead. Guess I should carry two. I'm thinking about a Ski Doo with an ACE or eTech engine, or maybe the Yamaha VK540. Likely won't make a decision this year, going to buy a good jump pack and use this one again.
Have you had an extension put on your exhaust to keep the heat off the track and from icing up? Yamaha kit is expensive, but any muffler place can do it super easy.
I don’t think they’re stock, I believe the original owner put wide skis on. I like it most days, but side hilling when the throttle is down hill is rough. I need to put an auxiliary throttle on the left side for those situations.
+muskrat411 I think they're Corona. They were just the biggest ones I could find at Lowes, or maybe Fred Meyer's. I'll check for a brand stamp on them, but all the stickers are gone.
Greetings from Chickaloon 👋 thanks for the VK vids. It’s in the works that I get a VK it’s an ‘08. Be cool, freezerburn

I had an 08 vkpro. I wish it would have had a 1.5 track.
Nice vid! thank you.

Tundra LT 600ace might be a better choice.
Thanks for the reply.
@@sneakybow1 I have never had it.
@fullsteam 20 I should have tagged @temple's longtails and furs in that about his icing and water issues on the track

The joys of trail breaking...sure is pretty country you're in.
SwampDonkey530 yeah, I sometimes take it for granted, thanks!
What make of cutters are those, they cut bigger brush easier than my fiskers. I like how organized you gear is in your rack.

Ha all the stickers are gone shows how hard you work
there is not a single video of someone ripping on this sled everyone just uses it as a 4x4 quad does it rip or no gee
It’s a big heavy pig of a utility machine. With that big engine it can rip, but that’s not what it’s built for.
Russia or Sweden ?
Alaska.
