Hello sir, i am completed Diploma course but, I become an IFS(Foreign) Officer, Now, May I can do any degree in correspondence course?. If i did ,I am eligble Are not.
Brother if you do correspondence degree(distance degree ) in 3 years ,so you're eligible to write civil service exam . but if you pursue one sitting degree which means all 3 years of course is completed in only 1 year so your not eligible. As one IAS officer named RONALD ROSE (Chennai or tamil nandu) He completed is vocational course in rail way & got job in railway services & later on that he completed his degree through distance & cleared civil services exam now he is district collector in TELANGANA.

@Parvati Aarav I am working in IT :( but not satisfied with my job..every single day, I feel I don't belong here. I have always wanted to try for UPSC but was afraid what if I fail and lose 3-4 years in it....as I get older, I feel I should give it a try for atleast 2-3 years..but still I am afraid where would I stand after 3 years if things don't go well as planned.......on top of all this, I am not married yet...so family pressure as well.
@@peterk6674 I think we are sailing same boat i tried state services kpsc twice but couldn't clear, What i am thinking if you are really interested then you should definitely give a try max what will happen you will loose few lakhs which are earning as salary which you can earn in another few years but if you loose these 2- 3 years you will not be able to do it. Coming to marriage you will find a partner even if you are 35+ there are many working girls out there who are still single just like me. So go for your dreams nothing should stop you from acheiving your dreams.
