Lake Placid still uses most of its venues - a tourist and training facility locale since the 1932 Olympics and reused and expanded for the 1980 Winter Games with an active legacy still in 2023.

Major reason why LA and Salt Lake been chosen for future games is because they already have most of the facilities.

Utah's snowboarding drew @ViciousV 2 years ago. At a Curated event a few people invited him to experience your snow. I'm so grateful he invited me a year ago to come. As a Washington State native waking up to sun has been amazing! Working with athletes for the last 20 years, this toxic inversion air will drive them away. We are a migrate bunch.

I was thinking that cities who have hosted the summer and winter games should allow corporations & sponsors to make long-term public-private partnerships with a country's departments of education and construction to keep up with maintenance costs and collaborate with the Olympic Values Education Program to be launched by the IOC. After games are hosted, the Olympic education program can collaborate with hotels to have legacy events and initiatives for sports tourism so the spirit of the games will go on at the venues that hosted them.

I certainly hope Utah will build a rail connection to Park City from downtown! And, get Amtrak to serve the Rio Grande Depot for SLC!

Why is ethnic cleansing acceptable to the IOC?
