I find this so interesting. I was in one of those cabins in May and there were 2 nights of horrible noises keeping us up . Some of the noises sounded like the steel of the ship was bending or something ( hard to describe) . We were a bit worried! I was in 5239
You did a great job explaining everything but remember the staff has a way of hearing anything even if they do and they never seem to find a solution. Thanks again.
I was there early this month and didnt hear anything like that. Thou my friends room floor was always wet and they always had to call the service to dry it out, and that went on for 4 days. Captain gave a bottle of wine as consideration 😂.
I have heard there is a crew staircase and doorway utilized for change in shifts back there somwhere. That results in noises of door banging, steps, and whatever else they are dragging.
Perhaps the noise is from the ghosts of past cruisers who removed the onboard gratuities. Seriously though my guess is it be might be from a commercial dishwasher from the restaurant.
@@djcruiser9816 zing!! I like that one. So I did investigating before I left and beneath our rooms is the second floor of the dining room where no galley exists. Just a few server stations for drinks scattered about.
Just an observation, after looking at the deck plan. It appears that there is a stairwell right below the cabins you mentioned. Beautiful ship. Good that Carnival offered some compensation. All the best.
Thanks for that. I have been looking at the deck plan as well trying to determine what it could be. It's totally plausible, but consistently for only an hour in the middle of the night? When I asked the security on patrol if there is activity beneath us I should be aware of he claimed he does rounds above and below our deck and there is never anyone at that hour. So weird.
I was in room 5201 (the only stateroom in Terrazza that could fit 4 people) and had to deal with a lot of the same noise. We were behind a bar and below a kitchen or something. We were also the closest room to the Tuscan Lounge and it was SO LOUD. Never booking that room again.
I guess Halloween came early for your voyage but thankfully Carnival did the right thing for your inconvenience and you still enjoyed your vacation.. Happy to hear.. looking forward to your next adventure!

The crew ended up ruling out the restaurant beneath the room as it was just second floor dining room seating (galley was the next floor beneath that) and no one present during that hour. Above us were staterooms but no one was on their balconies. The mystery continues.

Ships dump “treated” waste into the ocean. You could be hearing the treatment tanks process and dumping in the early morning.

For the upcharge of this room, the in room amenities and decor is incredibly underwhelming.
