Lombok Road Trip Continued: Driving from Senaru to Tetebatu

This week our Lombok Road Trip continues as we make our way from Senaru in North Lombok, to Tetebatu in the centre.
Tetebatu is often referred to as the Ubud of Lombok...but wow! We don't think there is any comparison. The nature in Tetebatu is some of the most incredible nature we have ever seen in Indonesia. The drive from Senaru to Tetebatu was equally as impressive. There are some incredible views, but by far the best is Bukit Salong. this viewpoint in Lombok is amazing. We couldn't believe what we were seeing as we stood there and took in the breathtaking views.
What followed was winding roads twisting through the mountains, smiling Indonesian faces that past us and a lot of chaos! This really was a classic road trip.
