Annette by herself isn't a bad vocalist, it's just impossible to ignore how her voice doesn't fit most of their material. She did a killer job on Dark Passion Play and Imaginerium. Sadly, she didn't sound right on the rest.
I really enjoyed the Antette era of Nightwish. I felt like the band was exploring new ideas and going in different directions they had not gone before or since. Annette did the best she could with the older material but it's very clear that she is a different type of singer than Tarja was.
I think Annette did very well on the verses but the choruses...ouch, especially after the key change. They should have just let Marko sing it. The real star here is Troy, awesome job in the uilleann pipes.

NW is a tad lighter and happier/calmer in efmb. It's NW. Still sounds NW to me. It's good to hear new stuff every now and then.

Essa música definitivamente não é para a voz da Anette... A Tarja é a alma dessa música de fato. E em segundo lugar, Floor, que cantou até com a própria Tarja essa perfeição. Respeito totalmente a competência vocal da Anette, mas ainda acho a passagem dela pelo Nightwish foi meio apagada... A única música da Era Anette que eu curto muito na voz dela é a "Bye Bye Beautiful". Já que as músicas do Imaginaerum ficaram mais fortes na voz da Floor.
