I was so fucked up but this guitar made my life, gave me inspiration.. mainly the last solo.. i listen to so may geners of rock but this is mind blowing.. i mean its like progressive , art , math with bit of carnatic.. this is my first comment in youtube.. i really want to meet this person once in my life time to ask about how does he get inspiration , i mean how the mind set will be ... i dont know what to say... make ur music reach the whole world not for awards but to bring peace.

It pains me to see that so many great bands like this are so underrated. At the same time, most of the population listens to cancerous shit like honeysingh.
I'm not one to be biased or be insulting of others musical tastes as it is subjective, but I favor originality and things that make sense.

I used to be in a rock band in college (2010-2015), and we fell in love in Motherjane when we were just starting out. We met Motherjane backstage at Kolkata before a magnificient concert (we had sneaked in because we were crazy enough to meet them, and the band was gracious enough to talk to us). After the gig, Baiju sir gifted his plectrum to one of our guitar players. Our other guitarist was a little disappointed, so he promised him "I will give you my plectrum the next time we tour Kolkata."
Nearly 3 years passed, and Baiju sir left Motherjane, so we had given up hope of seeing him play live again. Then around 2012/2013, he came back to our city to play with the A.R. Rahman troupe. We visited him after the gig. Not only did he remember us, but he also gave our guitarist his plectrum. After all those years he remembered!
Unbelievable band. And absolutely beautiful, beautiful human beings. Everyone of them.
