As a long time fan of Code Lyoko, it was so disheartening to not find a complete version of this song without dialogue and you did it. You've truly done something great here.
It's been many years searching and you wouldn't believe how satisfying it is to finally have the full William combat theme with chorus and all, thank you very much for all your hardwork.
I miss older TVs SmartTVs suck this was my childhood and I will always love watching Code Lyoko even if the show is finished to me I still am that kid from years ago even though I am 31 Code Lyoko still remains legendary to this day!
Ah, it's all been building up to this and what a fantastic journey it has been to see this slowly build up into the full song that it is now. You did a fantastic job!
God that final look on Williams face always makes me tear up.... he's finally back with the only friends he's ever had and did everything they asked him to to replace his clone NO QUESTION. It always breaks my heart thinking about him and how they treated him the next episode. In my opinion, it's the worst code lyoko episode because it killed the potentially best character in code lyoko heartlessly. Even after being lied to about going back to lyoko and left alone at the lunch table, he STILL helped them with sissi. He deserved so much better
I mean, tell you what, you spend... how much time? A year? Two? Fighting someone that's always trying to kill you, I'd find it hard not to not want to see someone who looks like that ever again. Idk. I don't think that's the reason they were going for at all but I never took it as them doing something wrong.
Bro, for me too! It was just so revolutionised back in the early 2000's - love that this golden age of cartoons took such an inspiration from japanese tropes in anime and games - one of which was the idea of a villain fighting using a large blade. I love that William was one of the first to spread this trope around.
Everyone: watched Lyoko's code as a child and feel nostalgic Me: 14 year old kid who recently watched Code Lyoko because this soundtrack was used by Yamata41 in the opening of Homicidetale.
@@Аморал79 Huh, we're kinda similar. I learned about the show in 2018 from a friend of mine, and when it was on netflix in 2020, I decided to finally watch it. Personally, I may be a lot younger than most fans, but I still feel incredible nostalgia whenever I rewatch it on youtube, and it still has had an incredible impact on me. Glad there are code lyoko fans in a similar position to me.
There is something truly special and unique about the code lyoko soundtrack. It has such unique and satisfying composition that's hard to describe. It sets the mood of every scene perfectly, and while a lots of other shows and movies do that too, they tend to blend in with the scene, but code lyoko's soundtrack sticks out to the ear while still complimenting the action. It's really hard to describe, and that's probably the best way I could describe it. And the wide range of instruments it uses, chiptune, electric guitars, violins and cellos, maracas, and lots more, they seem like they would clash, but the composers found a way to make them sound stellar together. Also, the melodies they use are truly amazing. And the theme song is truly *THE BEST* cartoon theme song ever, it surpasses all expectations and is really close to the ranks of songs written by bands like imagine dragons, it's just something you wouldn't expect coming from the opening of a cartoon. The soundtrack to this show is truly unique and nearly perfect in its own right, and people like Jay are finding ways to still improve perfection. All in all, a unique and legendary show needs an even more unique and even more legendary soundtrack. Also, I have the 55th comment
Still feel like the ending he got was disappointing The very last episode and instead of using his power for good as a final climax of the show, we get to see him fall again to be a villain. God it would have been so cool
From how the show ended, I think they truly would've continued the series if they had more time/budget. Wasn't it weird that the skid had 5 seats when only 4 were used? William would've joined them in later missions for sure.
I think it wasn't too bad. After all they had one last shot at defeating Xana and knowing how dirty Xana plays, using William seemed to be the best option given he was a brute and tank under his control

BIG FACTS!!!!
This will remain as a legend this incredible version of william's theme, thanks for your effort.
Thanks man! :)
Didn't think anyone remembered about code lyoko in 2022
I'm not sure why they had William's body in fetal position as it revolves before awakening but it added to the moment.
He was waiting for the moment for him to attack
He was reborn as X.A.N.A Incarnate.
After those years, you made it. This is just perfect.

Ong they really did him dirty when he came back, that was one of the first time when I didn't agree with them, he deserved way better
Don't worry, he gets better endings in fanfiction
@@hangingkind4619 i havent watched evolution but seeing as he is on the missions now i think he is being treated better

Omg all the other theme's on TH-cam are either shortened or cut in half , this is the original full theme , thank you

@@gode_el_malek8973 Code Lyoko was pretty special and it aired on Cartoon Network so that makes it even more but that's why I love it.
