      @@SmokyRibsBBQ funny stuff!! I remember now what Jeff did for his first cook, it was a brisket witch I’m not really a fan of, but I was a big fan of the smoke ring. As good as my MB 560, I’m aware that’s it’s all about how the cooker cooks, but that was one of the best smoke rings I seen out of a pellet grill

      Thanks Joe! I've been waiting on this pit for 2.5 years. I was on the list to get one before they ever posted to their website and before people even knew they were developing their first ever pellet grill, but due to one set back after another, and then covid, it was a long wait, but I'm glad they got it perfected before sending it. I would have had this 42" earlier, but there were some updates that Chris wanted done to the Fireboard on the 42" units before sending it plus problems with supply chains on stainless steel, off road wheels etc, but regardless it was well worth the wait to have these options.

    Wonderful looking pellet grill and Im happy you got one of these so I can live vicariously through you. Looking forward to your comparison video if you end up doing one.
    I was in line for the preorder which looks like that doesnt exist anymore per their site? I just checked and shipping to my location is $587?!?!?! My goodness that seems a bit extreme for shipping.

      Comparison video will be done very soon. This pit weighs 445 pounds, and more if you get the off road wheel package, so shipping is going to be a bear for sure. I actually drove to Willis TX when I got my offset. Not practical for many though.

    Great video! Do you get any grease dribbles/leaks from the inside chamber to outside via lid opening? I know with high heat chicken it splatters and some of my grills contains all of it inside but some do leak - little it to the outside of grill. Thanks!

    Great vid Russ. As an owner of a custom LSG 30” vertical offset, I am still amazed at the quality of these pits. Chris and Amber really do a great job.
    Thanks for sharing this in depth look at the pellet grill by LSG!

    Congrats on your new grill! My LSG 20x36 pellet cooker sure seems to give more smoke than my old Rec Tec. I was getting a good amount of smoke out of the stack when I had it set at 350 doing a small spatchcocked chicken, unheard of for a pellet cooker. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on your cooks. Thx Rus.

      I'll be doing many cooks on this bad boy for sure, but got to see how it stacks up against my offset first. I think it's going to be very close

    Pork butt would be awesome! So would ribs, wings, or just a simple roast chicken. Maybe two chickens on separate ends, rotated occasionally, so you could gage temp variations inside.

    Wow, that is an impressive pellet smoker/grill. I like the option to cold-smoke or grill over charcoal. A pork butt comparison on this grill and the Lone Star offset would be great. Thanks!

    The build looks really good. I Can't wait for you to do a comparison cook. Will it give a smoke ring, and will the flavor be on par with a stick burner?

    • @SmokyRibsBBQ

      Yes, they are built very high quality. Yes it will give a smoke ring, and the comparison video will answer the question if it's on par with a stick burner. Thanks for watching

      Agree to that. One comparison with pork butts and one with brisket.

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I did a brisket and it had the most smoky flavor to date from any of the other pellet grills I have ran. I have not done an offset cook for over 10 years now so I can't say it is a match but I can say hand down way more than any of the chinese pop cans that I own.
