When I saw this on the TV just a moment ago, I felt chuffed and proud for all you Singaporeans, for having put together this great SE Asian metropolis.
I was in P4 when this was released, it was the last National Day I was able to see because I returned to Korea the next year I still miss Singapore a lot
My school is participating in this year's NDP parade. Honestly, when I fIrst heard this song, I didnt like it. Training was tough and tiring but somehow, since idontknow when, we would become energised when we hear this song being played, naturally singing along to it. And it's because we are proud to live in Singapore. Whether the song sounds nice or catchy does not matter, because it WILL sound like the best song ever when we, the whole of Singapore sing along to it. United we stand! I LOVE SG
Loved this song as well. Sad to see that Iskandar Ismail has passed. He was a veteren of NDP music especially in the 90s. 2012 was actually his last NDP

The cinematographer did a great job! Shot beautifully. His name should be up there too. :) Olivia's voice is good as is the little girl's. However it doesn't stir me up for SG as Kit Chan's HOME did. Amongst the contemporary NDP songs, HOME still brings tears to my eyes. Old favourites like "Count on Me Singapore", "We are Singapore" really stir the soul too.

Nevertheless, I love Singapore wholeheartedly. This is a unique country with a very unique culture. We certainly can't find another country with this unique mix of race and culture. Singapore was used to known to have friendly and welcoming citizen. Singapore together with the native Singaporean makes little red a beautiful place and a country that is worth to be proud of.
This is actually the sweetest NDP song compared to all the rest so far! It just that it didn't get as much attention compared to the rest because it's quite a different genre where most of the other NDP songs are cheerful, upbeat and more memorable with their lyrics but this is slower pace and low-key beautiful Which explains why they didn't make songs like this anymore. The cinematography is awesome is this one. It did capture the feeling with it. Also, who agrees NDP 2013 is the worst and most cringy one?
