I noticed how a comment thread was removed mentioning how getting a car before a license is privilege. It is privilege! Not sure how that was offensive enough to get removed.
Super cute car!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!! We made sure to get our daughters their cars when they had permits also. It’s the smartest decision for their safety. I felt so much less anxious knowing they had been putting in driving hours in the exact car that they were going to be driving on their own.
Also add meds and feminine products to your car bag to have in case of emergency. Always keep a case of water in your trunk for emergencies. Get a small tote bag or book bag with a change of clothes and shoes for emergencies. Trust me all of this comes in handy!!!

You never know when you’d need them until you do. Also know how to check your oil, and coolant because in the summer and winter when ur heat is running coolant goes fast
Whatever you do, PLEASE do not get the bath and body works car air fresheners because they’ll melt the interior and explode as well. There are TikTok’s of ppl getting burned from them. If anything, I use the room sprays in my car & the black ice vent clip

Hey Ellie, be careful when spraying the smelly spray in your car. That stuff is so strong it will damage leather seats and your dash. If you read the bottle it will even tell you that. Love your car. Congratulations.

25 years ago that I was thinking of my first car. I gotten it in mid October 1999. My first car was a 1999 Ford Contour SE in light denim blue. It was old school back then. My father had helped me on it. I was 29 years old back then. I got it before getting my license to drive it. I did test drive it before getting it with the car dealer and even my father was in the car. I forgotten my permit for my car. When I got the car that my mother did drove it towards a bigger town to shopped a little bit. I did practice in driving the car before taking my 1st driving test which I failed by a couple of points. The 2nd time that I passed it in mid December 1999. I didn’t decorated it that much. I bought a sticker of a Looney Tune character holding up a Ford logo and a steering wheel cover with the same character which I did liked. I didn’t put any seat covers on the seats since I have an armrest attached towards the driver’s seat. It was a good first car back then. I had different cars over the years. Now I drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE for a little bit over 2 years. I’m very happy in driving a car. I did missed out in driving in my teens because I was so afraid of driving and I did suck in driver’s education in high school. I never even gotten into an accident in class which was good on me. When I got my 1st car that did encourage me to get my license. I even have a little bit of a learning disability since I was a kid. Some things that I can pick up on quickly and some things very slowly. It took me a couple of weeks on my current vehicle to get used to the driving modes. I did learned quickly on using Apple Car Play. That was so easy for me. I wasn’t 100% on it at first. Now that I used it to play my music from my iPhone.
