Two things. 1) I couldn't help but laugh when you said expensive because housing on-campus at Limerick is barely over half the cost of on-campus living at my college. Ha ha haaa... American cities... *dies a little on the inside* 2) Eeeeey, I got into Drumroe for the fall (exchange student) and it wasn't even my top choice because I didn't know much about the villages. Super happy now :) Thanks for the video!

Thanks for sharing your experience! I'll be an Erasmus student in UL next semester and I've just found out I'll be living in Dromroe, so your opinion about this village is really reassuring to hear :)

Would you be able to tell me roughly how much it costs per year/per month to live on campus and off campus. Even a rough figure would be great. Or point me in the direction where I can find out. Thank you 😁

This was very helpful for someone who was nervous about where to stay in the coming semester, thanks a lot!
For erasmus-students it seems troy is the cheapest option available btw! I was also told bad things about it from previous erasmus students there, but if it's since been re-done, I guess that's were I will go. :)

Hi, this is a while after u made this great video but can I ask do u know anything about the UL digs on campus- the Salesian digs. My sons not keen but didn’t like Brookfield and parties etc so I thought this would suit him better but can’t find any reviews, thanks so much 👍

How much is it to live off campus in each of these places? Also, are they houses or just rooms?

The prices change every year, typically they’re cheaper than on campus accommodation but best option would be to reach out to them directly and ask how much they are this year 👍🏻

This was super helpful! I'm going to UL with Erasmus and had no idea where to apply. Thanks so much x
Edit: I got a room at Dromroe village but was a bit shocked when I saw the price. When I heard Limerick was one of the more affordable cities in Ireland, I though I'd get away with paying ~600€/month (which is EXTREMELY expensive when compared to my home country) but it's even more pricey than that. Is that normal for Ireland? Is it worth it to pay >800€ to stay there? Thanks so much again x

Glad it was helpful! Hope you have an amazing time, I think if you can afford it, it's definitely worth staying on campus for the year but ultimately there's no real difference between the villages so totally depends on your budget! x

2000-3000 for one semester, 4000-6000 for a year is what I've learned
