To me round tables take up too much space, rectangles work for me. Does the moon shine (not moonshine) through the big window to the left of the sofa? The university here offers once a month lectures on celestial things and then out to the telescopes. You inspired me, I am making Yorkshire pudding 2nd time ever the 1st time a very long time ago, I have to use muffin pans, and a pork loin roast never made, and the good luck for the year beans Black eyed peas, are you hungry, lol. I also had in sliced ham, swiss cheese and rye bread for new years eve didn't get to eat any. It is now 11:11 am in the States the State I'm in, New Years Day, central time. I hope pork loin drippings will be ok to use for the Yorkshire?

It really warms my soul seeing Sherpa finally sleeping on a soft bed rather than the hard cold floor. For those who were kind enough to buy Sherpa those beds, God bless you for caring.
Well my border collie prefers a hard cool floor with a cool draft for sleeping to anywhere else in the house. 2nd best is a rug. She very occasionally chooses her bed or mine.

Cool! You watch the New Year arrive with Big Ben and we listen to the fireworks shoot off at Disneyland (I live very close and worked there for many years). Then we watch them on TV in Las Vegas! I think Big Ben would be fun to watch a New Year arrive!
