Amazing amazing, mind blowing.....I always learn a lottt from these sessions. Although there are a few things that I don't understand but mostly, I get good ideas from here to incorporate in my dashboards. Please continue the support!
Please feel free to ask any questions during the webinars or in the TH-cam comments section. We are pleased to have you with us and encourage you to continue enhancing your data skills with ZoomCharts!
in graph when images added to nodes when from - to name selected but when from - to department selected images still there it showing, those are images of individual names but i want show images of departments also is there any way?
Hello, the solution would be similar to the original approach essentially you would have to create a dynamic measure which returns either the individual images or department images depending on the selections done in the slicers. One thing to remember here is that you would need to create an additional column with department images since the end result is to display one of them individual or department.
Am confused in that parameter part. Could you please explain it? In the first, visual have values only, from department and To department, but in the parameter extra added from, to name. That's fine we can create multiple parameters. In the zoomcharts visual, it allows only one source and target data in the selection. So in that given values are From department and To department sections. Then, how the visual is dynamically changing when it is selected from and to name in the parameter slicer?
Field parameters allow you to combine multiple columns (variables) and let the end user choose what to use. In this case, since Graph Visual can only support a single column as a Source or target value I have limited the slicer to allow only a single selection thus forcing the user to make a choice between either Department or Name. P.S. Make sure that you use the field parameter column in the Source/Target field since that`s the one that allows you to adjust the variable through slicers.
