    Im on vacation in San Diego and I didn’t know what bait where to fish and what fish are there but this just made me so positive about the fishing I’m about to do. Thank you and great video!

    Have you ever used that elastic thread to help hold the shrimp on?

      No, I've never felt it was needed. Some use the thread when their bait softens or turns old but I keep the shrimp in my bait cooler and haven't had a problem.

    Hi Ken,
    You've got an interesting channel (CA piers as a topic)! Question: my dad is an old fisherman from the Redondo area, but is no longer able to get out there. I was thinking about getting him your book, wondering if there are any pictures in the book or is it all informational? I think he'd be interested in reading but also seeing images of the various piers. Thanks!

    Caught a bonefish at the old Long Beach navel station back in 87. Off of squid.
