[Cyberpunk Game Arcade] namco Tokyo, Japan (Feb 2023) 新宿のサイバーパンクゲーセンnamco Tokyo

Hello. I like game arcades. This is a footage of the cyberpunk-themed game arcade "namco Tokyo" in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. This game arcade is located on the third floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, and opened in March 2023. You can find a lot of claw catchers ("UFO catcher" as called in Japan), some driving games, a few rhythm games as well as gacha games (toy vending machines) forming a little tower. The interior design seems to be deliberately made overly exotic, vivid, and highly contrasted, in homage to the good old days of neon-sign-filled Hong Kong. The outlet was filled with a lot of foreign tourists and domestic anime fans (there seemed to be some anime-related event in the retail area). There are restaurants with similar Instagram-worthy cyberpunk decorations downstairs.
新宿の東急歌舞伎町タワーのnamco Tokyoの様子です。サイバーパンク調の内装が目を引きます。海外からの旅行の人もたくさん訪れていました。設置されているゲームはUFOキャッチャー・ガチャガチャが中心ですが、ドライビングゲーム、太鼓の達人、ワニワニパニックなど家族連れで遊べるゲームも何台か用意されています。
