ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

You can see how shocked Gwen was when she saw Lennon after she turned. Lennon is my husband's family's neighbor and he's a sweet talented kid. I hope he goes all the way. He deserves it!!

This is definitely one of my all-time favourite auditions. Lennon's wonderfully expressive voice really tugs at my heartstrings.

Now, when Riba says, "Beauuuutiful voice." while shaking her head in disbelief, that means you sing in an unbelievably beautiful way. Lennon has just been knighted by the queen y'all!
I like how he was so polite and gentlemanly as he listened to Gwen, never interrupting her, and then gave her such a sweet compliment at the end. Seems like a genuine and nice guy in addition to having that great talent.

God, he looks like Niall's brother. The same eyes, the way he talks, he answers slowly...but his voice and song...reminds me of Simon &Garfunkel, very warm, touching and special
It's even creepier is he looks like my dad... He died quite a long time ago when he was 30 so the image I have of him in my head is around Lennons current age.. I even sent this video to my mom and she agrees that they look identical even with the piercing light colored eyes his voice gives me goosebumps .

Lennon’s voice sends chills directly to my heart. Since I heard this boy’s audition I’ve not been able to sleep.
This guy is super talented. Because, although he obviously has a unique and hauntingly beautiful voice, even more rare is his ability to emote in the lyrics, tightly control his runs and pitch, and take the audience to a completely different and magical place.
He could go all the way. He’s a dark horse and fully invested in music. Working with people with dementia and Alzheimer’s who connect to music still -despite forgetting just about everything else -shows how powerful and deeply rooted the gift of music is in all of us.
He's the one to watch, even beyond the show. Such a talent and gifted soul ❤

I never really watch the voice anymore but it was on in the background. I heard the first note belted out by this Lennon fella and ran to turn the TV up. I couldn’t help but tear up listening to his own version of this song. I want to buy his record now!

The very first note I heard from this young fella’s mouth, I ran into the living room to turn up the volume! He captivated me from the very start. He’s destined to share his voice with the world. I hope his life’s true purpose keeps him on this journey to make records!

I think I've watched this half a dozen times now. He's my favorite....there's no one else like him. Such a haunting version. Also like Huntley, both seem ready to tour, now. Will be a great season. Cracks me up when John stands and yells.

I think he came back with the wrong song 😢 I understand why he chose it but it’s not quite suited for him. He should have picked something in the male singer songwriter folk range that isn’t too rough around the edges. Maybe an Ed Sheeran to appeal to the pop side or an acoustic Radiohead song. Part of it was Niall’s bias - he may love singer singer writers but he definitely gravitates towards female singers and his obsession with Alexis just because she had a few magical moments was blinding him to who was consistently great and could actually make it. Who would buy a full album of Alexis. No offense, but I wouldn’t and she didn’t win anyway.
Of course, he's a Lennon. Lennon's in music never let us down.

Just watched last night’s episode. This season is insanely talented but i had to come back and rewatch this because your voice is haunting and reminds me of the indie bands I listened to in highschool. 1:00 gives me CHILLS. Rooting for you Lennon!
My friend and I thought the same, and the closest we came up with was Jeremy Enigk/The Fire Theft! But there were also vibes of Andrew Bird, Aqualung, Copeland, Sufjan and Band of Horses at different points
