Glad to see you back - I for one was one of the people that rushed to watch your previous video because I enjoy your process. Though your graphics were nice too! 😊. This was very inspirational, I have classic Traveller sitting on my shelf (it’s been there for more than a year) and always teach past it for fantasy. This definitely make me want to give sci-fi a try. It seems some nice random tables would help fire up the imagination. Looking forward to your next video. The other genre I’ve somewhat been stuck on is espionage- I’ve had one luck with solo Top Secret, but it petered out.
Thanks for watching! I’m really itching to just grab something and record the playing, to document the process because you are not the first person to say that they find it interesting. I played a lot of top secret back in the 80s, I thought it was a pretty good system. I have not looked at it since then.
Really enjoyed this video. Your solo play stuff is amazing! I use your dice oracle method in my face to face games and me and my players love it. Keep up the great work.
How Fun!! I'm starting to realize how much flexibility solo gives you, you can pull in whatever themes and resources you want and its fine. Great stuff. Thanks for the challenge. I habemt dine a recording but did two fantasy solo sessions. First was mostly set up but was a very enjoyable experience.
Relly like you videos help me get better at solo play😉👍 Can you one day please do a solo walking dead / zombie modern day. Sorry my english im from denmark.
Garage, basement, attic, all traditionally appropriate role playing locations! Just add the smell of kitty litter.
No more kittens, we lost our last kitty last February. 😢
Thanks for sharing your process. This is inspiring and entertaining.
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video. Do you solo?
@mattjackson I did a little bit last year for the first time. Your videos were definitely a motivation for me to try.
Awesome, I glad they were helpful.
I do appreciate hearing from others how they start, what tools they use, what systems, and how

I only played Top Secret once way back in junior high, it was fun.
I played Traveller and Top Secret early 80s but mostly AD&D. 👍🏼
Rodenberries is a Futurama reference which was a Star Trek reference. :)
Thanks for sharing 👋. I find modern tough to get into, never tried. Maybe I should 🤔
Very cool. The Galaxy in the Box is interesting. Anyway, I hope you keep it going. It's good to see you creating.
He’s back! Great video, and a very interesting start to a new story
Glad you liked it! I am having fun with it so far.
Another great video, I look forward to see what you do next!
Thank you very much!
Added to my wish list. Great idea to adjust the white box classes to sci-fi. Well done again
Thank you!, and thank you for watching. I’m really thinking of giving post-apocalypse a try using White Box.

That’s awesome! Glad you find it useful, I have loved my oracle since I developed it years ago.

Congrats! I knew you would enjoy it! Perhaps we will do a follow up challenge?
Sounds good!
I’ve seen Space Aces and I want to try Stars Without Number - not sure if that would work with solo roleplay.
Almost anything would work for solo imo.

Do you mean a game that includes a setting like that, or just a setting like that and any game system?
I'm the opposite for solo play - fantasy is difficult to start but Sci-Fi or Western *feels* easier to begin & get moving. No idea why though >g
