I really love your videos and you guys are an amazing team! Your children are very fortunate to have you as parents :D My child was diagnosed at 3 years old, as high functioning, but I feel that he has not made as much progress as I would like... for example he still inverts pronouns, repeats questions that I ask him instead of answering and cannot read or write (he is 6 now). Because of his diagnosis of being on the high functioning part of the spectrum, I have felt for a long time that it is my fault that he is not excelling and that as a parent I should be doing more. We do ABA 1 hour a day, speach therapy 2 a week, swimming therapy 2 hours a week, equinotherapy 2 hours a week and he has a shadow all day at school doing ABA and speach therapy with him. So may be it is a good idea to let them evolve as best as they and you can, without so many expectations... The first neuropsychologist we consulted said that diagnosis for children should always be written in pencil. Good luck and I look forward to your next video. Thanks!

No one thinks badly of a family using government services for the health of their children, especially if your POS insurance company doesn't cover it!! I can't believe insurance doesn't cover. God Bless your family!

I have pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified :) also known as Learning Disability (NOS) basically means you have some traits of autism but not enough to be called autistic because its super mild, and often caused by outlier factors such as in my case I also have congenital heart disease Tricuspid Atresia where I’m missing the Tricuspid valve, and only get 70-75% oxygen daily.

Hearing this diagnosis is helpful. It’s 2024 and we just received one for our son and it doesn’t even have recommendations like yours. Little to no help here in our state. No idea where to go from here

Seeing Alister's diagnostic code he is on level 2. The code 299.00 is level 2 requiring substantial support and I google searched this.
