Try to come in a group of 4-5 then you share the taxi charges. The homestays and hotels are very budget friendly.

Each having 10000...
So, is it okay ??
Our taxi charge from Tezpur was 5000/day . we hired for 5 days . but for 1 day Tawang local we had to hire local taxi as only local taxi allowed for Bumla Pass and Maduri lake which charged 6000 . So total taxi fare 5000*5 + 6000 = 31000

We did go by your advice and hired Deep for 9 days, where he took us through Assam and Arunachal, covering Kaziranga, Nameri, Bomdila, Dirang, Tawang, Bhalukpong, and Tezpur. He was fantastic, a great driver, a guide, and a photographer. He was always very flexible and accommodating to our preferences and needs. Thank you so much for sharing his contact details.

It depends on the weather at that time ... but for snow january & feb will be best

Taxi charge :5000 or 5500 per day ( we hired for 5 days at 5000 per day)
Hotels : Average: 1500-1800/day
For Bumla & Madhuri lake extra 6000
Food is very budget friendly

What’s the condition of the roads from Tezpur to Tawang.. last time I went up to Dirang in 2012 and the roads where unbearable.
Now roads are smooth and very well maintained by BRO... you are right earlier roads were in a very poor condition

Any group/ shared taxi operator for arunachal..
Pl advise best itinerary... Though I have visited leh / north Sikkim... Whether it is better than those places
For shared taxi you will get from Paltan Bazar, Guwahati - Zamzam travels &
from Tezpur ASTC bus stand also you will get shared taxi.
Day 1- Guwahati / Tezpur to Bomdila/Dirang
Day 2- Dirang to Tawang - on the way there are beautiful tourists places
Day 3- Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake
Day 4- Tawang Monastery then return to Bomdila/ Dirang
Day 5 - Bomdila/ Dirang to Guwahati/Tezpur
Every place has there own unique beauty. Tawang is very beautiful.

Yea you can definitely visit between 20-30 March
We went with Deep he is a great driver and he often drives to Tawang so you may contact deep his contact details are in the description of my videos.
Best places are :
Mandala top, Dirang Monastery , Sangti valley in Dirang
Sela Pass, Jaswantgarh War Memorial, Jang Waterfall on the way to Tawang
Bumla Pass, Madhuri lake, Tawang War Memorial light show in Tawang
Bomdila Monastery in Bomdila
You dont need any booking aap there are available hotels and even homestays
Its hilly but roads are good not that steep

Agar hum khudka car Lake ate hai to kunsa kunsa jaga deksakte hai aur approximately kitna kharcha asakta hai...if you guide us..
Bomdila Monastary at Bomdila
At Dirang- Mandala Top, Dirang Monastary, Sangti Valley
On the way to Tawang- Sela Pass, Jashwantgarh War Memorial, Jang Waterfall,,
At Tawang - Tawang War Memorial's light show, Tawang Town, Buddha Park
But for Bumla pass and Madhuri lake you will need to hire local taxi and also the roads are very small and curvy so anyway its better to get a local taxi for these 2 places.
Kharcha : Hotels are available from 800 onwards , homestays are available from 400 ... And food price is just decent
aur dusra kharcha to nehi hota .. and yes for ILP Rs. 100 / person

I am planning to visit tawang circuit on 18th may to 26th May 23 , I am booking taxi from deep sona as per your recommendation. Kindly advice about deep sona ji and his services is it safe to proceed advance payment,
If he takes advance payment I wont think he will dishearten you as his livelihood is driving . We also paid 5000 advance and we had an amazing tour... and these days normally tourist services also ask for advance because some people cancel at the end time and it's becomes difficult for them

Everything is good but i would suggest to avoid going during heavy monsoon.
In March also you may visit . You can even enquire details from Deep (his no. is given in the description) about the weather as he frequently goes to Tawang
